This is my new breakfast spot for when my family comes into town to visit me! I’m so glad I found out that not only do they sell the most delicious burgers and curly fries in Austin, but that they also become a breakfast diner in the mornings. I brought my family here while they were in town and they too absolutely loved it! It’s a “seat yourself” vibe as you enter. The server quickly greeted us and took our drink order. We checked out the menu and were pleasantly surprised at all of their options. I ended up ordering a #3 which is three eggs and bacon and you get two sides with it. I ordered some hashbrowns and biscuits. The key to the biscuits is you have to order them toasted so they split it in half and grill it with some butter. They come out so perfectly crispy! My family member also ordered their pancake breakfast which the pancakes are so huge they could not finish it on their own. I helped them with a couple bites and the pancakes are so perfectly cooked and delicious! The best part is that the prices are very affordable and fair for the meal portions. It does not feel overpriced and you walk out feeling very fulfilled. I highly recommend Dans for all your breakfast and burger needs!

Hands down one of the best burgers in Austin. It’s all about a toasted bun, good cheese and equal parts. This is a small bacon cheeseburger with a small curly fry. More fires than I can eat, be ready to share.

Great place for a good burger and fries at a reasonable price. Suggestion: Breakfast is good too! Cute old fashioned interior like a soda shop. Only thing I do not care for at this place, is they take your order, and give you the bill to sign if you use a card. (Basically, asking for a tip. No. I think we all have tip fatigue from years of Covid asking us to, at this point. It makes things uncomfortable for people in an otherwise pleasant experience.)

Good food (cooked to order), friendly staff, reasonable prices in a charming, throwback-like decor (think 1950s diners, like in the old TV show “Happy Days”). Also, given it’s proximity to such busy streets/traffic, I was pleasantly surprised with how none of that noise made it into the restaurant. Great experience all around!

Cool little burger joint. A little bit outdated but maybe thats the concept. I ordered a double burger and fries. Everything is priced separately from meat, to cheese, even the fries. Burgers are small in size. Food was ok. Not bad but not the best either. Place was relatively clean. Parking is limited on both sides of the building. Overall experience was ok.

I only used the drive thru to get some breakfast tacos. They were delicious and large. I requested the bacon be crispy and it was perfect The tacos were made after I placed the order, so were hot and fresh. Yummy

Favorite, affordable fast food burger in an old diner atmosphere. The baby cheeseburger has the most flavor, and does not make you feel stuffed. Shakes are delicious. Fries can be inconsistent if they are really busy. We like to go between the lunch crowd and dinner crowd.
