Ordered a trio of pizzas and some garlic knots while in town for my son’s graduation from basic training. The girl on the phone was super sweet and was quick taking my order with accuracy and a good attitude. We got a pepperoni for the kids, a white pie, and a multi topping monstrosity that my son requested. ALL and I mean ALL of them were cooked to utter perfection and were amazing with flavor. Crust was crispy and thin and the toppings were generous. The knots were unique, unlike any I have had. I think they may have been fried and not baked and had a generous helping of garlic on top. The garlic seemed like it might have been from a jar pre-minced but was flavorful regardless, only think I would have liked different was a generous helping of parmesan on top. We didnt receive any packets of parm or crushed red, not sure if that do that or not but not a huge deal. Overall, if we were in the area again we would absolutely visit it again and if there permanently, we would visit regularly.

I don’t understand the hype I see many people on Reddit and other platforms gives this place for its pizza. Very mediocre and that’s being generous. It’s just missing something you can’t quite put your finger on. It’s almost flavorless. Every time I get a slice it’s always the same, greasy, floppy undercooked pizza. Meh
Staff is always very nice though and the customer service has always been really good!

I was looking for some gourmet pizza and found mediocre. My wife told me what that word meant. I ordered a gluten-free chicken pizza and I was told by the gluten-free connoisseur that it was the worst pizza in 15 years of gluten-free pizzas. I am a everything else pizza connoisseur and ate the barbecue chicken pizza and meat lovers pizza and they were very mid. Not a lot of toppings floppy crust and not hot.The garlic knots were the icing on top of the disappointment. They were soggy and wet sitting in a pool of oil / butter. Maybe I just got them on a bad day but doubtful.

I normally don’t write reviews but this place was so horrible I can’t hold my tongue. I ordered via DoorDash and received a thin, oily cold pizza. Being from NYC I was excited to try SC version of NY style pizza this place ruined my opinion for SC. I also ordered the chicken Alfredo, the sauce was watery but there was clumpy sauce/cheese in between the pasta noodles. It’s crazy how much money I spent for dinner at this place for me and my children and received a low quality meal. They have no regard for people’s money and no integrity in the quality of their meals.

The pizza I ordered was the Deluxe pie.
It tasted good but was soggy in the middle. It’s like it needed to cook just a few minutes more.
Lastly, the dessert was limoncello cake. Again, nothing special, not bad, just ok.
Now, I’d definitely visit again. They have many menu options that sound great.
And the staff are fantastic, constantly working to make sure you are taken care of!

Dano’s staff/cook has exceeded my expectations of good pizza! My 3rd time ordering takeout, from the pizza crust being exceptional thin, crispy to my liking, the sauce close to authentic, toppings of your choice, good quality, everything was a 10/10, and customer service is has always been pleasant..this review is for whomever prepared our pizza dated 12/06/25 between the time 1:30 to 2:00pm.

Ordered a salad and pizza online. Salad took 20 minutes to appear after the pizza was done. The salad was full of brown lettuce and totally not worth $10. Talked to the manager on the phone. She was rude and said I was threatening her because I told her Danos would get a bad review since she failed to refund cost. Poor customer service! I’ve ordered from Danos for many years. What is happening there?

Although I’ve worked in the city most of my adult life, I’m a small town guy. After shopping with my wife, we were looking for a decent spot with good pizza. We stumbled upon Dano’s, and we were very glad we did. Great atmosphere. Just what we were looking for. I enjoyed the music. Very friendly, helpful staff. GREAT pizza and beverages. We do not live near this area but will most likely go back many times to enjoy food, drinks, and watch the ball game.

At the time of writing this, it was our second time getting dinner from here. The first trip was just a regular pizza that was decent enough. This last trip was their deep dish where the crust was undercooked and doughy. The dogs enjoyed it but nearly $30 for a box of cheese, toppings, and undercooked crust was a little much to risk a third trip.
