The food was absolutely outstanding easily some of the best I’ve had. Every dish was prepared perfectly and full of flavor (chef’s kiss). You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
The dessert was truly a work of art. Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted just as incredible as it looked.
I enjoyed my first visit so much that I made sure to come back the very next day before catching my flight home. If you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a memorable dining experience, Danny’s Table is definitely a place you should visit. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be back the next time I’m in town.
If you haven’t been to Danny’s Table in Fishkill, you are missing out!!
We had the Beet Salad, Oysters Rockefeller (perfection!), and Fish Tacos — every single bite was incredible. The couple next to us had the Lamb Chops and Chicken Francese, and they were raving that it was the best meal they’ve ever had!
The chef used to be at The Kettle House in Chappaqua, and you can taste the love and skill in every dish.
They even have a full vegetarian menu and will customize anything for vegans or anyone with allergies.
This place deserves 1000 stars — hands down, one of the best restaurants in Fishkill, NY! ⭐️✨ ⭐️✨ ⭐️✨⭐️
We happened to go during restaurant week so we each ordered from the prefix menu.
The appetizers were all good. I hade the beets with goat cheese and radicchio, my daughter had the Caesar salad and my SIL had the lobster bisque.
The main courses were a big disappointment. I had the braised short ribs with farro and root vegetables. I got a single beef rib. To say it was a 3oz serving would be generous. The beef was tender but the gravy looked and tasted like it came out of a can. The faro had the consistency of grains that had been frozen and reheated. The root vegetables were the only thing on the plate that tasted as if it may have been prepared from fresh.
My SIL had the Branzino and he said it was dry and flavorless. My daughter had the chicken which she said was juicy and tender but the mashed potatoes were flavorless and tasted like they came out of a box. The gravy on her chicken looked exactly like the gravy on my beef.
For dessert I had the apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream which was dry, more like apple pie with a crumb topping. Definitely not a cobbler and again tasted like a frozen re-heat. SIL enjoyed the beggars purse and daughter said the cheesecake was a typical frozen single serving cheesecake. Nothing special or unique about it.
All the food was presented beautifully and the table service was great, the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. I gave the two stars for them.
The quality of the food unfortunately totally missed the bar.
These meals were not worth the $45 price tag which was apparently a deal since it was restaurant week. We won’t be going back.
I’ve had my eye on this place for a while—and WOW, it did not disappoint! A true must-try in the area. My husband had a serious short rib craving and left beyond satisfied. The short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the creamy mashed potatoes they came with were absolute perfection.
Honestly, every single thing we ordered was a hit. Not one miss. The presentation was very nice. The ingredients all tasted super fresh. The menu is incredibly versatile, which makes it perfect for any group—there’s truly something for everyone.
I ordered the shrimp and crab linguini and it was chef’s kiss—rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We started with the burrata toast, and finished with the Beggars Purse dessert. I’ve never had anything like it before—it’s a must if you go!
Can’t wait to come back and try more. This place is already on my repeat list. Go hungry and bring friends!
