So I haven’t been to Nuevo Laredo since the 90s! Things have definitely changed. We went to eat at Danny’s on recommendation b from a good friend of mine. When she heard I was coming to Laredo she texted me “EAT AT DANNY’S!” so I did and I was NOT disappointed. You’ll see in my pics that we ordered cheese enchiladas and a plate with enchiladas and mollejas! Let me just say…. THE MOLLEJAS WERE PERFECT! My boyfriend loved his enchiladas and also the chips and salsa! Not to mention that our server brought us MORE CHIPS AND SALSA!!! ❤️ Our server was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was really clean! We noticed when we drove up how clean the outside parking lot area of the restaurant was. A+++ for that! for the food and everything else!

I have been eating Danny’s since they were across from the post Office on Jarvis Plaza. Today it was horrible the taste the reheated food. I use to order double rice because their rice was amazing. Today I could not figure out the bad taste in my mouth. It was the rice horrible. Sorry I never complain but I have to today. I always crave you and my husband always says no not there. Holy Moly know I know what he means !! I will never ever eat Danny’s again!!! You need to check yourself. I rather pay full price for enchiladas that are good then bringing people in to eat nasty food sorry !! Not sorry !!!!

We ordered breakfast tacos for takeout from Danny’s, and when we got home, we found that the entire order was completely incorrect. On top of that, the food was bland and lacked flavor. We did call the restaurant, and to their credit, the manager was understanding and offered a full refund, which we accepted. While the customer service was appreciated, the overall food experience was disappointing.

I had high hopes for this place because of what I hear. There was no wait time and the staff was very friendly however they checked on us maybe 2x during our stay. We tried mole enchiladas, which were too sweet for my taste. The rice and beans were delicious, I loved those. The water was straight tap water which did not taste well. It had a bleach aftertaste. Another person in my group got a chicken BLT which looked like it was just thrown on the plate but whatever. It was crunchy and dry on top of that. We asked for flan hoping it was made in house which it wasn’t and that was disappointing so we skipped that. I gave 2 stars because it’s a nice place with friendly staff

The food and service is always amazing here. Whenever I visit Laredo, I have every breakfast here at Danny’s. Also, for some reason their Diet Coke (fountain drink) tastes so good!

Stopped by for lunch on a pass through Laredo. We were greeted warmly and drinks taken by the host. A basket of chips and some salsa were brought to the table. Good stuff. I was in the mood for a chicken tortilla soup. I ordered the caldo Tlalpeno and my traveling companion had the Enchiladas poblanas from the lunch menu. Excellent choices. The caldo arrived hot plenty of shredded chicken, avocado a pepper and a side of corn tortillas. A bit of spice but perfect, not spicy hot at all’s The enchiladas were delicious with a dark chocolate infused mole. Great place. The waitress was observant and waited on us well.
