Use to come here when I was younger all the time! The chicken and wedges were amazing! It’s been awhile since I had stopped so riding by today decided to stop in! Well it will be the last time I decide that! Chicken was awful and the wedges hell they looked fake they tasted fake as well! This place has definitely fell off! Definitely disappointing!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience at this bar was so disappointing that I need to share it.

On September 7, 2025, I visited with my legitimate, task-trained mobility service dog (protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act and South Carolina’s Layla’s Law). Instead of being welcomed like any other customer, I was told by staff member Diane that my service animal was not allowed in certain areas of the bar and was directed to a segregated section away from the rest of the patrons.

This treatment is not only discriminatory—it is illegal under both federal and state law. Service animals are considered adaptive equipment under the ADA, just like a wheelchair or cane. They are legally permitted in all public areas where customers are normally allowed. Businesses cannot restrict, segregate, or deny access to a person with a service dog.

As someone who relies on my service dog for mobility and independence, this was humiliating and unacceptable. People with disabilities should not have to defend their right to be included.

I will be filing an ADA Complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding this incident. I also strongly encourage this establishment to educate their staff on service animal laws and disability rights to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Until then, I cannot recommend this bar to anyone who values accessibility, inclusion, or simply following the law.

Pizza was a joke. Tasted like the cheapest frozen pizza at Aldi. I would never try to sale something that taste that bad.

I go in here all the time but tonight i go in there to buy and item they have visibly advertised as 2 for $5 when i get to the register they ring up full price when i tell the rude cashier they are advertised as 2for $5 he says oh well we have to update our system so you have to pay full price i say thats clearly false advertisement he then keeps saying it’s no big deal well it was a big deal to me. If i was you i absolutely not got to Danny’s they are clearly ripping people off and i will be filing a complaint with the BBB thats very poor business

Was searching for fried gizzards and livers… they didn’t have gizzards, but their fried chicken livers were amazing. Perfectly cooked, fresh, and outstanding. Bonus points for friendly staff and low prices. I will definitely be back.

Over all been going here the past few years , lets say 3 and they young men at the front are usually sweet . They have a new cashier there that I am not to happy about and a few locals as well have complain, he kind of talk down on the homeless that comes in or people who are not as urban I might say. And every time I come in it’s a battle like he is trying to be funny ? But it comes off rude and argumentive.

Mediocre food with atrocious service. It’s a convenience store with a kitchen. If you call in, they will not start your order until you walk in the door. And the will lie about it. “10 more minutes”. I waited an hour for 2 pizzas that they didn’t even start until I showed up, and I call it in 30 minutes earlier. Also, you should conceal carry a firearm when you go in there.

I love the broasted chicken but it is hit or miss. Fresh and it is awesome. A half hour out of the oven and you can watch it as it dries around the bone. Pizza, go someplace else. Atmosphere? It’s an old convenience store and it feels like you are being videotape from five angles. Quick meal in the parking lot, malt liquor, and a lottery ticket, this is your place.

Often they are too busy for their own good but the chicken, wings and tater wedges are great and well worth the wait in line. The cheese and pepperoni pizza are also worth trying. I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars because they don’t manage the cash registers well when food orders get heavy.
