The most amazing food, service and atmosphere you’ll ever find! My wife is a huge fan of the Taylor ham egg and cheese, and she swears that Danny makes them better than anyone! They have the most amazing grits I’ve ever had (only on Saturdays)! Their home fries are crazy good, also the best I’ve ever had. Carm and Danny are AMAZING!!!! I would eat here absolutely every day and die happy!

Me, my girlfriend and a friend went into Danny’s with a service dog. As a diabetic with low blood sugar at the time, the dog was whining, as a response.
We told the waitress and she said it’s fine as long as we have the service animal card… I said yes and showed the card..
We ordered our drinks and placed our breakfast orders and there was a costumer sitting at the bar asking if my dog was a service dog.
They kept whispering over their shoulders towards our direction and have the same patron walk over by our table to investigate.
We felt uncomfortable and discriminated against, so we decided to leave. We did not eat any food nor did the food even get to our table before we decided to leave.
I got up and told the waitress that we did not feel comfortable and that I would like to pay for the drinks, but no longer wanted to give any more business to them for the rude behaviors.
The manager and waitress started getting loud and were yelling profanities, stating that he was going to call the police.
My girlfriend walked out to go to her car and the manager ran after her aggressively again saying hes going to call the police for none payment… (I was still standing at the counter trying to pay). As a person of color, she felt threatened, targeted and prejudiced against. I then told him to stay away from her and he continued screaming. They lost our respect and promising loyal customers. God Bless America

First time here. I stumbled upon this gem bc I’ve got a contract job down the street (originally from LA). Jersey is known for Pork Roll meet and I had to have one. I ordered a Big D Breakfast Sandwich. Danny is the cook and he did not disappoint.
This diner is the perfect definition of local mom & pop diner with a welcoming feeling serving your favorites. No thrills, just good food and reasonably priced. Everyone knew each other. I love the small town feel.
Highly recommended. I wish we had more places like this in LA.

This is where you get the best Taylor ham egg and cheese in Asbury park area. Cash only, but there are rolls are delicious and it is a solid sandwich. I will be back here way more times than I would like to admit.

Scrambled Eggs were “simply” delicious. I refused to use the word phenomenal until this morning after breakfast at Danny’s Place. The service was phenomenal as well! They might be genuinely Morning People . ☕

We’ve driven by this spot so many times and today we finally decided to stop and try it. We did not regret that decision. Food was great, service was terrific, prices were fantastic, this will be our new go to breakfast spot!

Always drove past without having a chance to stop in till I moved down the road from it. Walked over a few times for breakfast and have never been disappointed. They serve wonderful meals and the staff have always been welcoming. One thing to note is it’s cash only.
