On a whim we tried out Danny’s and we’re glad we did. A little drive from north Valrico but well worth it. Sandwiches are piled high, the homemade soups and potato salad are all delicious. Not to mention the friendly staff, a great couple of guys. Two huge sandwiches, a bowl of broccoli soup, a bowl of potato salad (thank god it wasn’t sweet!) two drinks and a very nice tip, we spent $41. We will tell our friends and we will be back.

From the moment I opened the door, I knew I had picked the right spot. The aroma instantly transported me back to my hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts, where walking into a local deli meant you were about to experience a truly unforgettable sandwich. The walls covered with Philly memorabilia sealed the deal—I knew I was in for the real thing.
I ordered the cheesesteak with a side of their loaded potato salad, and from the very first bite, I was hooked. The cheesesteak was everything I hoped for—flavorful, satisfying, and dangerously addictive. The potato salad was the perfect complement, creamy and loaded with flavor. My girlfriend ordered the Pastrami Ruby with pasta salad, and she loved it just as much.
When we arrived, the deli wasn’t too busy, but within about 10 minutes, the place was packed. Even with the rush, the two workers behind the counter handled everything like pros—welcoming, upbeat, and efficient. Their great personalities added to the whole experience.

Danny’s Deli nailed it. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people running the show. This place has officially created a new “problem” for me because I know I’ll be craving their cheesesteak all the time. My girlfriend and I will definitely be regulars—they’ll know our faces for sure.

Amazing staff and a even better sandwich. Was instantly greeted and made feel welcome as soon as I came in the door. I will definitely come back to this hidden gem. I got the Philly and the baked potato salad and I give it a 10/10 for both.

First time visiting this spot as it was recommended by a co-worker of mine. I asked her, “where has the best Cubans?” And she pointed me here. Made it after work, thankfully, traffic is crazy in the afternoon hours to get there but it’s worth the drive. Atmosphere is was welcoming as they knew me already since I called ahead and made me feel like I had been there many times.
Anyways, I got the Cuban to go. Amy asked me if I we gonna need napkins or will eat it at home…it smelled so good, I’m so young this uk after pulling over and eating it before even making it 5min out their parking lot 🙂

My husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches from Danny’s Deli. I got the cheesesteak and hubby got the Italian. We shared our sandwiches and we were both impressed. We also tried both of their potato salads and they were also amazing. Definitely recommend.

Warning- Danny’s Deli is addictive. Love the cuban, this sandwich alone brings me back weekly. Then i tried the italian, and i alternated sandwiches each week. Then I made up my own sandwich which was my favorite. Any of these, along with the sides, are a reason to come back again and again. They i tried the philly samdwich with the cherry pepper sauce. Blew my favorite sandwiches out of the water. Didnt think Danny’s could get better. I was wrong. And now i am even more addicted. The owners and their team are great people, if their football team choice is a bit off. My favorite place in Fishhawk and the best place to get a sandwich anywhere.

Stopped in to try Danny’s deli today, and I was not disappointed! They are situated in fishhawk in a strip mall next to 7-Eleven off of Boyette. I checked out the menu and was torn between the cheesesteak and the Italian. I decided on the 5 inch Italian, which was 7.99 and the 10 inch sandwich was 12.99.
I believe it was the owner Danny himself who is making the sandwiches handed it to me. He was super nice and friendly! I got home and tried out the Italian, it was loaded! The sandwich was amazing so fresh flavorful and juicy. I really loved it! I’m super excited to come back and try the cheesesteak. I highly recommend coming to Danny’s for a great sandwich
