We ordered from Dannys in Oceanside today and had the food delivered. after eating the food we noticed a plastic bag with a fortune cookie inside we decided to open the plastic bag to enjoy the fortune cookie. Out of the bag came a fortune cookie the sauces and And about six bugs. the bugs were all alive and came crawling out. one looked like a roach. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know what happened…So that other customers wouldn’t experience the same situation. the girl I spoke to told me she would let the manager know. I expected to hear from the manager I was shocked when I didn’t receive a call back. We are absolutely disgusted that we ate before finding this bag. Can’t believe I paid money for bugs

First time ordering from this place at the Oceanside location. I ordered one large Veggie Fried Rice and 8 pieces of wings. When I received my order, I saw Pork Fried Rice instead of Veggie. My mother had no idea tiny pieces of pork was in the rice and ate it. WE DO NOT EAT PORK DUE TO RELIGIOUS REASONS! When I looked at the receipt, we were charged for a Large Pork Fried Rice. I immediately called the restaurant and was told they can only give store credit because they are too busy to deliver. After a few back and forth, they ended up delivering a small Veggie Fried Rice meanwhile they charged me for a large Pork Fried Rice. They do not pay attention! Never again!!!

I placed an order on Sunday the 21st of December 2025 on UberEats, after not seeing my order picked up in over a half hour I called the store to inquire how long my food had been waiting and if it was cold, after confirming it was ready for.a while and sitting I informed the restaurant i canceled my order through UberEats, and reorder through Toast because I would prefer hot food, expecting my food to be remade and hot when I picked it up.
Do you think they bothered to remake my food. NO, they did not. I picked up the same cold food that was part of my original Uber Eats order. Ice cold egg roll, luke warm soup, and fried rice.

This is for the Oceanside location. We had for many years bought our Chinese food from a store near Danny’s which wasn’t there at the time. Over the course of time the quality and taste of the food diminished. When Danny:s opened we decided to try it. It was much more expensive, but we weren’t satisfied with where we were ordering.
Well the food from Danny’s was excellent, and we thought well worth the cost. Now however in the past few months things have changed. When ordering a combo plate, it has now become 3/4 fried rice, and a bit of whatever you order. This was not a one time issue, but the way they are making up the dishes. On top of that our last order, the
Fried rice was hard and dry. It was just about the worst Chinese food we had ever ordered.
It’s a shame that their food quality has been so bad lately. I understand that food prices are going up. I would rather you state that up front, and put out slightly smaller portions, or raise your price a bit. Just let your customers know that you are going to keep the highest quality that you can, and not just cheap out.

Terrible food… definitely doesn’t taste like what it’s supposed to. Ppl who and the phone e are so food. Place is clean ,well run and absolutely worth a few bucks more to know what your eating is fresh and the cooks actually wash their hands

at work and we decided to have chinese food. Two of us decided to have The lunch special boneless spare ribs. The fried rice was good but the spare ribs were horrible!!! They were dry inedible!!! Very dissatisfied

I find it hard to believe that all these 5 star reviews are legit! I wanted to like it but I wouldn’t order again. They are overpriced and underwhelming
The only thing I liked was the Philly cheesesteak egg roll but not for $4.00
The sesame chicken was so overcooked and dry I couldn’t get thru it with a fork! with barely any sauce
I don’t know what it is about Chinese restaurants that they always overcook chicken!
The egg foo young had a weird sauce not traditional
The fried dumplings were overcooked snd hard
And those delicious noodles you normally get with soup well not here because they use pre bagged
I wasted my money unfortunately
