This was our first time at Danny’s as we’re visiting from out of town. We asked around and Danny’s came highly recommended so of course we had to try it. We are well traveled and have had bbq from Kansas City, Memphis, Texas and more, but none of them compared to Danny’s. Walking in, the smell alone was enough to make my mouth water. They have the cutest little place with the friendliest staff. My husband had the pork spare ribs with collards and southern potato salad with a side of okra. I had the pork, southern potato salad and baked beans. We both ordered the small portion which was plenty!! We both left full and very satisfied. I only wish we had stopped in at the beginning of our trip so we could’ve come back sooner!!

was referred to this place as being one of the best bbq joints in town but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. granted, we did order to go and had a 30 minute drive.
we ordered two, two meat combos. we got smoked chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. for sides, we got coleslaw, hush puppies, and fried corn.
the good news was that the ribs were delicious. super moist, smoky, and tender. i could’ve finished a rack to myself.
the brisket was a little on the dry side and not much smoke flavor that i’d hope for. the smoked chicken had good smoke flavor and was dry as well. the pulled pork didn’t have much seasoning or smoke flavor either.
for the sides, the cheese curds and hush puppies were great and super tasty. but the fried corn wasn’t anything special. couldn’t really taste the natural corn flavor.
despite all of this, i will give the benefit of the doubt that we did order to go and had a long drive. the staff were super friendly as well. this review won’t deter me from coming back. i agree it would’ve been better to dine in, which i will do next time.

So note to self don’t buy fish from a bar-b-que place. You go in and order, pay them sit down and someone brings you your meal. But when you pay for you meal you are asked for a tip up front. 15-18-20%. Well just to let you know they bring your food to the table and you never see them again. No true service. The hush puppies were good. The green beans were tasty. The fish was dry and overcooked the beans were ok. I’m not sure what was going on with the soda machine but it tasted just like syrup didn’t have the carbonation it should have had. I gave it 3 stars because the sides were good.

Best brisket I have ever eaten, and they have very meaty ribs. They always good food and their service is really good. Their pulled is good too. If like BBQ you have to go to Danny’s.

My husband and I both have major food allergies and haven’t been able to have some good BBQ in over a year. I love that the smoked meats are smoked without a rub/seasonings. It was safe for us to eat and the food was great. We loved that the staff was knowledgeable on ingredients, answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel like I was a burden with asking about their menu. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Been coming to Danny’s BBQ for years now. Every time, it is excellent in terms of food and service. Ribs are fall off the bone and real meat flavor. Various sauces if you want to try them. But the real meal flavor is why I come here. Sides are all good, from potato salad to slaw to beans, and so on. Service friendly and cheerful. Super super consistent which is what you want in great BBQ. Ribs are my favorite. Pulled pork is great, too.

My first eating there had Brisket sandwich with sweet sauce. Everything was delicious 8/10.only thing is I wish my side was a little bigger, Turtle pie was amazing nice slice. Service was both professional and over top friendly. I will be going there again, luck for me I work next store. ️

Great smoked chicken and good BBQ! Had eaten here years ago, but recently had takeout twice in 2 weeks. As good as it was several years ago! Slaw is decent, as is the Brunswick stew but the chicken and BBQ are top notch. A little hard to find, but worth the hassle and time!
