A good, clean burger. The size of a what-a-burger with the unique taste of a homemade patty. I recommend the cheese burger with chips and an IBC. The prices have changed due to market fluctuations, but still a good value. We arrived 10 minutes before closing, but Danny had no issues with that. As a matter of fact, someone else showed up 5 minutes PASSED closing and they STILL served them, 5 burgers no less. Exceptional service.

Thee best restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time. Not many places can you go and the owner is not only cooking your burger, but striking up conversation! Small town feel in the middle of San Antonio. The burger was also incredibly delicious! I will return when I’m craving a burger and you should too! Cash only!!

I heard about this place and wanted to give it a shot. I stopped by and it was closed but kept it on my radar. I happened to be in the area and took a gamble. Place is unassuming but let me tell you the burger although simple was delicious.
The owner Danny is doesn’t hold back with the offering of a real 1/2 pound burger with all the fixings. Very flavorful and just a basic burger in his words.
In my opinion this isn’t basic and the flavors are surely memorable. Highly rated burger!

He keeps it really simple by offering bags of chips to go alongside his Burger, but this reminds me of how burgers were served many years ago before the side of oily french fries came along.
They have different variations on how you can customize your Burger but the menu is streamlined to keep the ordering process simple. I’m looking forward to returning and chomping down on one of their Juicy Burgers!

Danny Boy’s doesn’t mess around. His burgers are made with fresh, it aint frozen. Perfectly toasted buns that hold everything in. Each bite is a juicy explosion of flavor, with just the right amount of toppings. It’s the kind of burger that makes you happy from the first bite to the last.

Great burger. Real plain menu. Burger or cheeseburger. Got basic fixing to include bacon and jalapeno. No fries but chips. Soda drinks to include the Mexican coke bottle. Small hole in the wall place but it is freaking good. If you want a good burger without paying and arm and a leg then this your place. His burgers are made with half pound patties. Come fresh and made to order. Old school fashion way of cooking burger and the flavor shows it. Hopefully he will get alcohol soon. Outdoor seating and indoor seating. Will go back again…. and again… and again.

This place embodies the spirit of San Antonio in one little humble hamburger shack. One of the friendliest and tastiest places, nestled in a great spot.
We walked in for the first time and the owner already knew my name from some messaging back and forth. There were some cops and city workers there who were clearly regulars. Adds to the biggest small town vibes we have.
