Best hidden gem of Boulder. They do “bar food” and they do it amazing! The prices are even better (even the drink specials!)… Especially for the area. We have been going to the same traditional “Boulder brewery” forever, and we are definitely changing to Dannik’s as our new regular spot. Disclaimer: I have a food allergy that makes it hard for me to order off of a regular menu, and I had ZERO problem here. I almost forgot that the bartender provided the most fantastic service.

A refreshing change from the college-student centric places closer to Boulder. Service for our party of three was prompt and polite, and the burgers we ordered were both tasty and reasonably priced. Note that the burgers came in a form that was more tall-and-thick than thinner-and-wider. Fries were nicely done….about 10mm cross section and optionally spiced with some kind of red seasoning. I got the plain fries, one if my party got the seasoned. We liked both of them. Good beer selection too. We came on a Sunday night, and the crowd was definitely more mature-and-sedate rather than young-and-restless. If you’re looking for a simple night out while interacting with the locals, this spot fills the bill and does so without the hassle of driving into Boulder or wading through noisy crowds of twenty-somethings.

Just a great experience as for a foreigner! Nice climate, good music, and, first of all, good food 🙂 Onion soup – just awesome! Fish and chips – great, cod: delicate and crunchy at the same time. Plus “flip a coin” happy hour – just fun! 🙂 Were there during a week for a late lunch.

It would be nice if there were more gluten free choices and if they had sweet potatoes for sweet potato fries. Guess I picked a bad night to try it! At least they had a single offering of cider though they aren’t keeping up with other establishments close by. Just a typical bar and grill… Staff was nice. Food was meh.
