Walked in around 3pm on a Tuesday so not too busy. Immediately greeted by hostess and seated. Ordered a Kirin and Kimchi fried rice(add meat(bulgogi))
The banchan was the best I’ve tasted and I ate Every. Single. One. I didn’t want to eat all of my rice so I could have some for lunch tomorrow! Pictures show all banchan except the salad I immediately inhaled when it arrived
Obviously I will be coming back to such a welcoming restaurant with delicious Korean Cuisine!

Pretty authentic Korean restaurant on Issaquah highland, right outside of Regal movie theater.

Medium sized space with simple, cozy and warm atmosphere and attentive staff.

Food was solid. Pricing wise, a bit on the more expensive side (2-people sharing 1 main dish, 2 appetizers and a large hot sake, prepare to pay $90).

Dishes recommended are: bibimbap stone pot, and soft tofu soup.

We’ll be back!

New favorite Korean restaurant in Seattle!! We stopped by this restaurant on our way home from Mailbox Peak and had the most wonderful post-hike meal. We are vegetarian and had the soft tofu soup and soybean soup, plus veggie pajeon. The pajeon was super thick and fluffy — a must have!!!! The staff were very attentive and proactively offered to refill our empty banchan plates and hot teas, which usually never happens.

Of all the options on hte menu, a yangnyeom mackerel seemed very interesting – so I ended up getting it. I’m very glad I did as it was excellent.

This is just a large piece of mackerel, coated with a sweet and spicy Korean sauce. There’s nothing too fancy about it.
But every part of this is done just perfectly.
The skin on the fish is incredibly crispy. One of the crispiest I’ve ever had – you can tell the instant you scrape your fork across it that it’s going to be good. The mouthfeel is so satisfying to cut off a piece of fish and bite into it and feel that crunch. The edges are even better, with more surface area for the skin. It’s also impressive how consistently crispy it is across the entire piece.
The yangnyeom sauce is mouthwatering as well. It’s not like they just brushed it across – this is baked into the fish, and seeps through the skin into the inside. It’s addictingly good.

Not to be outdone, I also loved the inside of this fish. It was immensely moist and just fell apart while cutting. Despite mackerel not being a super fatty fish, I got a tremendous amount of flavor from how juicy this was.

The banchan was also good – I really liked the potatoes and japchae. The rice did feel like it was too dry though – it didn’t have enough water.

For around $25 for the dish, it’s not a bad price considering the size of the piece.

Overall, this is one of my favorite pieces of fish I’ve had in some time. 9/10

We had a wonderful dinner experience here. The food was exceptional, especially the LA Kalbi short ribs. The staff were super attentive and three different people all came to check and make sure everything was good. The portions are extremely generous so plan to take home some yummy leftovers. We will definitely be coming back here regularly.

Excellent. Good was great and service was fast. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. I would definitely recommend getting the banchan set. Gotta make it the most authentic Korean experience! They have a wide variety of proteins and meats, which I will have to try on my next visit.

This Danji restaurant is perfect for anyone who likes Korean food. We went for lunch and ordered the famous Bibimbap, fried chicken, and fried rice. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. They also served a bowl of rice and a variety of pickles on the side. The portions are generous, and when we asked to pack our portion, they packed them neatly. The service is very good — the staff checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Overall, a great experience!

Good food. Do a mix of personal dishes and sharing dishes. Go with a fun group! Enjoy the food and company.
The flavors were good on everything we had, so choose your adventure.

They can seat at leat one 10 top. Most other seating is 2 to 4. Make a reservation if you have a large group.

Possible to be under $25-40 per person average.. going hungry.

If loving Danji is wrong, I don’t want to be right. This place doesn’t just serve food — it delivers a full-on Korean flavor experience that makes you stop mid-bite, stare at the table, and seriously reconsider every meal you’ve eaten before.

Let’s start with the spicy galbi jim, because wow. This dish is next-level, elite, tell-your-friends-and-enemies good. The short ribs are impossibly tender — like, barely-holding-it-together tender — swimming in a rich, deeply savory sauce with just the right amount of heat. It’s spicy, but thoughtful. Bold, but balanced. The kind of dish that makes you slow down because you don’t want it to end.

Then there’s the kimchee pancake, which deserves its own standing ovation. Crispy on the outside, perfectly chewy inside, loaded with funky, savory kimchi flavor that hits all the right notes. It’s the ideal share plate… except you won’t want to share. Trust me.

And the fried chicken? Unreal. Crunchy, juicy, and seasoned like someone in the kitchen truly cares about your happiness. Every bite snaps, crackles, and delivers pure satisfaction. This is fried chicken that ruins other fried chicken for you.

Danji is the kind of place that reminds you why going out to eat can be exciting. The flavors are confident, the execution is flawless, and every dish feels intentional. I walked in hungry and walked out plotting my return.

10/10. No notes. Danji forever.

Our meal was WONDERFUL!! We were a party of 7 and everyone’s meal came out at the same time, piping hot, and beautiful! Each of us [3 adults, 4 children] were thoroughly pleased with the meals we selected.
Service was great – not too much, not too little. The music was fairly loud when we arrived and we were having a hard time holding a conversation over it. We asked the waitress if the music could be turned down slightly and they did so immediately without hesitation.
Pricing is on point for the quality and quantity of food received. This is most definitely a restaurant I highly recommend.
