Absolutely delightful little hidden gem in a large strip mall! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by a very nice young lady who seated us! The atmosphere was nice, very cozy, and quiet, though it wasn’t very busy at the time. They started us off with a wonderful array of tiny, but shareable dishes, some of which I’d never tried before anywhere!? Though one or two were a little bit too spicy for me, they were ALL delicious! For my entree, I ordered the Katsu (breaded pork cutlet) and my sister ordered the Bibimbop. We were BOTH very satisfied with our choices of entrees & enjoyed just being present with each other. We’re very committed to eating at Danji again!!! ❤️ Can’t wait to try something different next time!! If you’re in or around the Greensboro area, do yourself a favor, try DANJI for yourself!! You won’t be disappointed!!

They started us off with the banchan: 6 complementary side dishes that presented a range of flavors and textures. I think they vary with the seasons too so it something different each visit.
We got the seafood pajeon, a savory scallion pancake filled with generous amounts of seafood and vegetables. Delicious!
Finally, we got the jokbal, which is braised pig trotters slow-cooked in seasoning. Tender and succulent, hopefully the collagen will better my skin.

This place used to be really good. But recently we ordered to go and they were beyond awful. Bulgogi was overly sweet, and tonkatsu was so dry and flat, my soup tastes like it was made with the premade package. Not to mention the portion size was so ridiculously small we were all hungry after spending average of $20 per person.
Not sure what happened but I am so disappointed and I don’t think I’ll be back for a while.

This restaurant is not what is used to be. The ox bone soup has no bone-in cuts but just the briskets. The spicy okra? soup has so few meats and vegetables. The small dishes are changed. Very disappointing.

We had an extremely disturbing experience at Danji. While dining with our baby, we were preparing to go to the restroom to change a diaper after being reminded by a staff (or maybe the owner). We immediately stood up and complied. However, the staff member continued to question us aggressively, and as he walked away, he turned around and said the Korean profanity “ssibal (씨발)” against us ,which is an extremely vulgar curse word equivalent to the F word in English. This was shocking, abusive, and completely unacceptable behavior against customers, especially a family with a child. This restaurant clearly lacks basic professionalism and respect. We will never return and strongly advise people to avoid this place.

As a person who lives in Singapore, I can say that this place is easily by far one of the best Korean places I’ve ever been, and is much better than most I’ve been to in an asian country like Singapore. After taking our orders, the waitress came out with 6 appetizers, and they were ABSOLUTELY delicious. My favorites were the radish in kimchi sauce and the mungbean (it was so good I asked for another serving of that). Now after waiting some time, the main courses arrived, which we ordered Bugolgi beef and Fried Mackerel. The bugolgi beef was amazing, and I think it’s the best I’ve ever had. All the main dishes come with a side of white rice, and the beef really goes well with the rice. The fish was also quite good too. We also ordered a beef short rib soup with noodles and that was also REALLY good. Literally everything here is amazing. I would love to come back if I could.
