Food is good especially the burgers. BUT 2 packs of ketchup for an order of fries. If you request more they are $.15 per pack. The packs have barely any in them. At least give 4 packs thats enough to cover the order of fries.

Iconic place in the Valley! The best little “all-the-way” burgers since the beginning of time LOL. I’ve gotten one or two or a sackful over the years and they are always delicious!! And the little cardboard numbers are a trip down memory lane. Reminds me of skipping school one day in 1977 just to go get burgers with my friends. I fibbed to my Momma but she found the little cardboard number in my Volkswagen and we got busted!!

You should really update your business hours online. It says you’re open till 3 on Saturday. I drove 2 1/2 hours to come down here to get a Daniel burger to take to my grandfather’s grave because today is his birthday and this was his favorite burger in the world and I pulled up at 2:45 only to be told that you were closed and was out of burgers by 2:20. That is not right.

The food is simple and tasts good. The employees are courteous. However, the burger patties are exceptionally small … 2oz maybe. I’d gladly pay more to get a bigger patty. It is not fast food and you shouldn’t expect it to be. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes on a weekday and upwards of 30 minutes on Saturday. It would be nice if they gave you an estimate of your wait time when you placed the order. They receive so many call in orders, you really can’t estimate your wait time by looking at the size of the crowd. The last time I was there on a Saturday, it took 45+ minutes to get 2 cheese burgers.

This place is a hidden gem in valley Alabama. They’ve been in business since 1950 and the food is delicious. They have a unique menu. Their burgers are on regular buns but the hamburger itself is small, but they have chili and ketchup and mustard on it. Seems like a weird combo to do because the burger seems so small but the bread is big. I ordered three at a time and they are delicious. you just have to go check them out they have a medium sized menu and go early or a little later or call it in because they are extremely busy at lunch. It’s hard to explain their burgers but they are delicious with that chili they have on them. We ordered six burgers, two bags of chips into 16 oz Cokes for two people and it was $15. They get their meat from a local grocery that has fresh beef and you can tell the difference. Go by give these guys a try if you’re ever in valley it’s worth taking a detour.
