The ambiance is like a school prom or a fundraising event, which we didn’t expect for a restaurant. Our reservation for party of 2 was at 7pm and when we arrived they didn’t have a table for us. Waited at the bar and no one acknowledged us so couldn’t even get a drink. Got seated around 7:30 and our server didn’t come around to take our order until 8. We didnt get bread until we asked for it bc they had “ran out” and was “heating it up” but when we finally got our bread it was cold. Our entrees didn’t come out until 8:55pm for a 7pm reservation. Then when it finally did the steak, which we asked for medium rare, came out well done. The seafood pasta was quite fishy and the pasta was very overcooked as if it had been sitting around after being prepared. The only thing good was the fried calamari appetizer. Definitely not worth it.

It is a true hidden gem! Tucked away inside the NYS Fairgrounds it is actually more convenient since there’s ample parking and pretty much in a secured area. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat down at a table that is surely a delight for two since it’s larger than the average. Food was impeccable and the drinks were spot on. Our server Adam was very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend Daniella’s if you want a more private intimate gathering without the hassle of traffic.

10000/10 food is always excellent. Servers/bussers are very friendly and very good at their jobs. Plates cleared immediately and water was always being refilled. They make you feel special no matter what the occasion. I went for a little date night the day after V day and they surprised us with this beautiful heart shaped desert. Dinner was out of this world both partner and I got the steak with crab sauce on top. We will be back very soon!

We ate here today. Excellent food and service. Try the lobster roll…. Great beer. The owner was very nice, appreciative, and hospitable. He came around to all tables. Is inside the New York State Fairgrounds. Highly recommended!

Daniella’s has a lot to offer and some truly phenomenal tastes. It also falls short in some areas, and for the cost of the experience needs improvement before 5 stars can be given by me. Let’s start at the top…
They take reservations and I’d recommend obtaining one. The place wasn’t completely full, but if you’re trying to do some impulsive fancy dining there is always a chance they won’t have immediate space.
The setting itself starts off strange as you are entering the building, going through small hallways with plenty of bathrooms. Once you turn the corner that opens into the restaurant it’s a beautiful setting, with welcoming ambiance and a professional musician playing/singing at the perfect volume to enhance your experience and keep you grooving.
A nice table setting with friendly staff who were quick to see what we needed. The service felt well paced to slightly slow, but given the fact you may likely be here for a special occasion and trying all kinds of different foods, the pacing is probably good for the tummy.
The drinks were enjoyable. Everyone at our table was pleased, no one was blown away.
The food: the bread and butter was delicious. Fresh, warm and delicious! Don’t hold back, enjoy yourself here. The house salad, it was an average house salad, nothing special. The main courses, everyone thought this meal was cooked to perfection. From the various proteins, pork, lobster, steak, scallops to the various pastas on the table. Beautifully done! Extra special shout-out to the bone in pork chop it was the table favorite, absolutely phenomenally done. The sides… Rather disappointing. The veggie portion is bland and scarce on the plate. The wild rice was bland but plentiful. Others didn’t have other sides so no comment available on the other options.
The dessert: Definitely don’t want to pass these up. They do bring them out to the table to show them off to you, which I always enjoy. From what we ordered, every single one was loved and they are built to be shared!
Conclusion: There is a lot to love here and I’ll absolutely be going back…on special occasions where I’m willing to break my bank a little. The 4 stars is because there is clear room for improvement and for what we spent would like every element to be closer to perfect. Hopefully they continue to improve upon what they have created here, because it’s a great foundation.

Pros: 5/5 food. Like seriously excellent food from apps to entrees. Big portions. The waitress accommodated our request they split 2 entrees and plated half servings of each. Service was good.
Cons: 3.75 % unannounced credit card fee. The atmosphere doesn’t make sense. No one was greeted upon arrival. I had a clear view of the entrance. The host was busy moving tables (seriously) and setting up for the next guest. Not a great choice for date night. Open window into the management office. (???) Temporary curtains dividing a large banquet hall (I think) Low end decor, tables, and chairs.
This looks like a restaurant that was set up as a temporary pop up in the last month but apparently they have been there for 3 years.
The restaurant could be improved with minimal cost and effort.

I had my micro wedding (25 people) here 9/16. Brian, the General Manger, was amazing. He was on top of everything and accommodated my every request. He even saw my theme was sunflowers and brought me some from his sunflower field. I can’t say enough good things about our 2 waitresses. They were AMAZING!!! The food was wonderful. Our meals started with rolls and butter and that butter was to dye for. Then came the salads. They were good but not my type of toppings. I had the surf and turf. The lobster was a little over cooked and tough but the filet made up for it as it was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. My husband had the Chicken Riggies and he loved them. I tasted them and they were very good. Had a little kick to them but that’s fine as we like some spice. As I mingled I asked how everyone’s food was and not one bad thing was said. I even had many say their steak (Delmonico) was the best they ever had. Even though my wedding was very small the staff made it a stress free evening for me. Will definitely be back to have dinner in the restaurant.

I went to this place on the 27th of December, 2024, to celebrate my lil sister’s birthday with our family and everyone was so nice. I loved everything, we even brought a cake and asked the waiters and waitresses to have some. They make it very enjoyable. Our waitress (I forgot her name, but we tipped her even more) because of how inviting she made everything. We will definitely be coming back.

We just had Easter brunch it was very good, many choices and as always amazing staff. Bloody Mary looked great but with the horseradish it was more like a cocktail sause to me. We have been to the seafood part many times and always think it’s the best in Syracuse. Enjoy all.

Attended the 2024 “Magical Night at the Fairgrounds” at Daneiella’s Fresh Seafood and Pasta House. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We had the buffet and drinks for the holidays and had the BEST date night. Daniella’s continues to provide the best service and food in Syracuse. The atmosphere put us in the holiday spirit and was an amazing experience. Highly recommended and guaranteed to provide quality dining in the area. Thank you to the staff at Daneiella’s.
