Welcome to our farmhouse restaurant! We are the daughters of Rita Frank-Daniel and Robert Daniel. As you look around the restaurant, you will see where we came from and the values we were raised with. Our late brother, Jim Daniel, dreamed of owning his own restaurant so we are honoring that dream. He loved to cook and have others enjoy his food. We have several of his recipes on the menu and his spirit is here helping us, as is out mother and father Rita and Robert Daniel. We make our own in-house batters, gravies, noodles, house salad dressing, soups, desserts, as well as daily specials. It may take a little time to prepare your food so please sit back enjoy your food, service and good company.

Went there for breakfast this Sunday morning…. Such a beautifully decorated place it had a comfy vibe and everyone was very friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. It is a hidden gem in connersville I recommend everyone check it out. We are going to try dinner there and Im sure it will be great

Overall this restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food was okay, but it was so expensive we will not be back. One trip to the salad bar was $10. The burgers were $19 with one small side. They charged .25 for 2 paper thin slivers of onion. The cottage cheese was maybe 2 oz. As I was paying, I was charged an additional 3% for using my card, and then was expected to tip after the 3% was tallied. I understand prices are high now, but this was just too much!

My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast a few weeks back. I loved the rustic, small town charm. It fit well. The breakfast was well prepared, waitress was prudent and swift, Amazing attitude. We will absolutely eat here again soon. We loved it.

If you are tired of corporate conformity, this place is awesome! It offers a simple, family friendly home cooked style meal that shows in the best way possible how great non-chain restaurants can be. We were especially impressed by our waitress—she was new, but acted like a veteran, being very polite and accommodating even though we were in a time crunch.

So far so good. My husband and I spark all day so we are getting tired of eating at the fast food places and rather give back to community. I love thier table here. Kind of gives a southern feel here. Drink are in a canning jar. I really love that.

If you like a simple family friendly home cooked style meal this place is awesome. We had a waitress who was new but you’d never know it. Very polite, very accommodating as we were in a time crunch. Everyone is so used to corporate chain style restaurants, this isn’t it. And it shows in the best way possible.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and we had the best waitress! As you can tell from the pictures the food portions are huge and a great value. The kids meals are crazy cheap at 1.99-2.99 each. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and decorated so cute. We will for sure be back! Did I mention how yummy the food was!

Boy is this place good! How many lunches have I wasted at a fast food joint when I could have just as easily gone here. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent. I have waited longer at a drive thru window. I enjoyed the chicken salad, it is homemade. At least it tastes like it is. Their coleslaw is as good as anyone’s and the battered cauliflower was pretty good. My only complaint is I was craving some soup today and they did not have any. Now, it’s 90 degrees outside so I can understand why, but I was craving some. Oh well! Great find.

It was the first time I’d been there but I will go back again. This restaurant has a rather simple menu, but it’s all very home style cooking. It’s hard to find good fried chicken livers and their dinner was not only a nice large portion, but it was delicious and affordable. I highly recommend it.
