5 star dining in Birmingham. This restaurant was top notch in every way. From the service to the upscale decor to the menu, we just loved it. Everything was delicious. A few of my poetry had the grouper. They said it was tender and perfectly cooked. I had the pappardelle which I’m sure was house made. The sauce was expertly seasoned, chunky and very comforting. It was all divine. We shared a few desserts. The churros we crispy and delicious, blankets in crunchy sugar and cinnamon and the lava cake was just sweet enough. Nice wine list and several seasonal cocktails were also offered. Perfection. I would definitely go back. It was a wonderful dining experience.

Fabulous atmosphere! Wonderfully delicious meals and desserts! The service was spectacular…Thank you Lacy for making our evening so warm and friendly. The crab cakes were amazing (great recommendation!) and the snapper was the best of the best…. to finish with the warm chocolate Lava cake was perfection! So thrilled we had reservations and were able to enjoy our evening with dear friends!

Had the lunch hamburger steak. The ‘steak’ was burnt on the outside and like shoe-leather inside. The ‘gravy’ looked like it was made of melted beige crayons. It had zero taste and was thick and unappetizing. Best part was the caramelized onion that I scraped off the top. Mashed potatoes had no taste and came without any gravy, butter, etc. Extremely disappointing for the price.

All around pleasant experience in the Birmingham area. Had no idea where to go, but did not want a chain to visit for dinner. Found this place and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent, especially the salmon was superb; the server was extremely friendly and the drink selection was decent. Desserts looked amazing, but didn’t try them this time. Definitely worth visiting for a great meal.

Wonderful atmosphere, knowledgeable staff & great service. My meal was the house standard of gulf fish. At the time it was Red Snapper. It was perfectly prepared and absolutely delishious. Attire was mid level casual, but not pretentious. I would recommend this spot with confidence if you are in the Mountain Brook area.

For the price range of it menu, I was shocked to see that the side of the steak entree was french fries (like Steak n Shakes menu), the salad was dry (taste ok, but dry), and my steak was over cooked (I ordered it medium, got it medium well).
Would I go back? I don’t know. Maybe to give a second chance and try the salmon.

What a great little spot for a fabulous meal! This white table cloth restaurant has delicious southern cooking with just the right touch of elegance and style. Highly recommend you trying this place. You won’t be disappointed.
