DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES – THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE.
This place is an absolute disgrace. I have a severe onion allergy—as in, I could end up in the hospital if I eat them. I told them clearly, multiple times, NO ONIONS. What did they do? Instead of making a fresh plate, they went in the back, scraped the onions off, and tried to pass it off like everything was fine. Are you serious?!
That’s not just lazy—it’s life-threatening. It shows a complete lack of basic food safety knowledge and ZERO respect for the health and safety of their customers. You cannot just remove an allergen from a plate and think it’s safe. That’s called cross-contamination, and it can KILL someone like me.
And guess what? I still found onions in my food. AGAIN. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this restaurant. At this point, I truly believe they’re doing it on purpose—or they’re just too ignorant and careless to be serving food to the public.
I’m not just angry. I’m scared. Scared that someone else with allergies will eat here and end up in the ER—or worse. If you value your health, your safety, or just basic decency, STAY AWAY from this restaurant. I’m seriously considering pressing charges. Enough is enough.

I paid $25 for a dish and was extremely disappointed. The food looked like it had not been properly prepared — almost as if it had been thrown together carelessly. This is not the first time I’ve received food like this, and I know other customers have experienced the same issue. For the price, the quality is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant until they improve their food preparation and respect for customers.

The decor was very authentic and the customer service was okay. The food was very good the first time ordering, however the second time I went back with my cousin and the quality was not the same. Not sure they had a different cook that day, but there was a definite difference in the taste. Another big thing I didn’t not like was that they use pork for their Legume and Lalo but didn’t have it listed or mention it. My fault for not asking I guess, I just use to other places using beef.

I wanted to support this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing. The owner’s attitude toward customers was arrogant and unprofessional.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The environment was uncomfortable, and there was no heater on during cold weather, which made the experience even worse.

Please do not go there! They give spoil chicken and they make all their dishes spicy to cover the taste. I was born and raised in Haiti and the flavor is not authentic. Worst Haitian food I’ve ever had.
