My family and I have lived here in Carver for 3 years and just recently decided to try Dandy as we haven’t really been too impressed with a few of the other local favorites. I’m so glad we did! So impressed, finally a pizza place with a good crust. My family have ordered multiple times recently and every experience has been phenomenal. Excellent, clean tasting food. We definitely found our new favorite take out place. Great job!

The price specials are not honored. I ordered #1 is was supposed to be $19.99. I was charged $30 I called they said the price went up. I said you have to honor the advertised price online menu. I was then told there was a $5 delivery charge not mentioned on the menu. It still didn’t add up to $30 but the man who took my call basically said too bad and he’d let the owner know when I accused him off false advertising. Buyer beware ask the price prior to charging and check your statements if you use your card.

It’s a nice small family run, pizza and burger joint that also does breakfast and great salads. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is great and fast you’re in and out in really quick. The owners and workers are friendly and polite!!! I definitely recommend that if you’re in the neighborhood you stop in and say hi and get a bite to eat you won’t regret it!!!!

I ordered onion rings & Hawaiian pizza. The pizza I had before and was delicious , the onion rings were Great! Very crunchy, sweet,not soggy or oily and very generous portion. The young girl who answered the phone was very efficient and friendly. My order was ready when I got there, so no waiting,[ even though I had called from my job past the Bourne bridge , expected to be at least 45 minutes ] , prices reasonable, portions generous, seasonings on food nice, not overpowering or skimpy.

These people are so nice and work very hard. The food Is well prepared and delicious. They are flexible to customize. They do deliver but I like to go there and order in person. Doesn’t take long. I like thanking the staff people in person. Pretty sure the guy in the kitchen is the owner. I prefer supporting local family owned establishments as opposed to the franchises. I find the staff very pleasant and know they are locals. I don’t get there that often, hope to in the future, nevertheless they don’t forget a face. I always tip and recommend it if you can. I’m certain they depend on it and I’m grateful they survived the pandemic! It’s not a true eat- in place, so not judging atmosphere, but it’s very clean and they always greet you with a smile.

Update: Changing my review from 1 star to 3 and will continue to go up if it stays like this. Last few times the pizza was awesome, and subs seem to not be as empty as they used to be. Customer service has been solid too.
This place is terrible. It sucks to have a place this close to home that is this bad, we already have almost no options in carver. Employees aren’t friendly, food is crazy expensive and is barely average, while being mostly frozen. Sad part is, no amount of bad reviews or complaints will make them change how they operate or the food they serve.

Have gone to dandy for years now and it is a great smaller place to catch a good bite to eat.
The food is always cooked perfectly and the flavor is amazing.
It’s smaller so most do takeout, but they have tables and they are very attentive to your needs while there.
If you haven’t stopped at Dandy yet, put it on your list as a must stop next time you’re hungry!
