High quality cuisine, a wide variety of offerings, vibrant atmosphere, and friendly staff make Dancing Ganesha stand out. I was especially pleased with the daal and beef josh, which were well-prepared, savory, balanced, and delicious. Well suited for a variety of occasions, the atmosphere was bright, neat, and welcoming. I’m looking forward to being back so I can try more of the menu. The lamb chops caught my eye for next time. Thank you, Dancing Ganesha.

I started coming to St Louis Park for a monthly business meeting earlier this year, and I discovered this gem a few months ago. I now come for lunch whenever I get a chance. Their street food menu is a fantastic deal! I love the samosa chaat ($11), and I’m now having the aloo tikki chaat, which is just as delicious and an equally good deal. It’s a generous helping for lunch and beats fast food any day. Highly recommend!

I got a mango lassi and chai. The mango lassi was good and standard size for 5 dollars while they gave me a mini kid cup that is less than 8 ounces for the chai. The chai is 4 dollars but less than half the size of the mango lassi which is very disappointing. I had to add my sugar as they don’t sweeten them. Overall im just dissatisfied and insulted by the size of the chai, look at the photo to see the difference.

The food was good, could have been a little spicier. The service was ok. What we ordered: chicken biryani, chicken 69 (I think that’s the name), lamb korma and another dish that starts with n…neegri??

We thought we would give Dancing Ganesha another try so we ordered take out tonight. Unfortunately, they didn’t label the containers so we were taking a guess at what the dishes were. Once we figured it out we had mixed reviews. The Chicken Tikka Masala was great! Better than Best of India since the peppers are small vs big chunks and not oily like Best of India. The spice level was mixed up with the Chicken Curry getting the “medium plus” vs the Chicken Vindaloo which got the “medium” level so I couldn’t eat my curry since it was too spicy. The Vindaloo was medicore, not a fan. The curry was good per my spouse. The white rice was somewhat mushy and offered nothing unique to make it Indian. The Samosas were good along with the sauces that were provided with them. We will definitely try them again and hope for an even better outcome next time.

My friend and I visited this place as it has been one of his favorites to come eat.
It was my first time but I am so glad I got to enjoy this tasty food. I am not able to handle a lot of spice and they are able to accommodate your spice level on a scale of 1-5.
After looking over the menu, the dish Kashmiri really stood out to me. I loved the sweetness of the apples and raisins plus the Naan dipped in the curry…just splendid. The rice that is served with it, is a nice touch to tie all of the ingredients together. I did get the lamb and I would recommend that choice to anyone.
We also enjoy Gobi Manchurian as an appetizer. Unless you realize its cauliflower, your taste buds have no idea lol!
Thank you for making my first time eating Indian food a memorable experience

We had an amazing time at Dancing Ganesha in St. Louis Park! Each of us ordered something different, which meant we got to sample a wide variety of dishes—and wow, were they delicious. Some of our standout favorites were the rich and savory Josh, the Tandoor Tikka, the perfectly spiced Curry, the goat Chettinad, the lamb Kadaiwala, the fresh Saag, the fiery Vindaloo, and the Peshwari naan! The variety of flavors and spices already have me excited to go back!

They would have garnered 5 stars as the food was excellent but we ordered the lamb neelgiri and received chicken. Ordered tandoori chicken spicy level 5 and received spicy level zero. Mistakes happen and because everything was so delicious we will be back. The vegetable samosas were huge and perfectly spiced. The mirchi baji were just ok. Service was excellent and everyone was so nice. Little mistakes are worth a return trip.

I liked the place and the food was good. I went for dine and ordered Kadai paneer, malai kofta, garlic naan etc but the tomato soup was not that much good. The food was well cooked. Service and quantity of food is good.
