Reviews
I was excited to try the dal baati thali and while the food was flavorful, it was barely enough. And “chaas” (buttermilk) was served as the dessert. What! They call it the “Ultimate thali” with measly quantities of food and no real dessert.
Some chaat dishes like chole tikki are good.
Edit 2/16
The Mahashivratri special thali was quite good. It included sabudana khichidi, vada, aloo sabzi, bhagar, yogurt and makhana kheer. The food was delicious and filling.
Samosa Chole Chaat – The cholle was made in the morning and just reheated and provided. Samosa seemed to be frozen samosa.
Dabeli – They actually don’t give dabeli. They just provide regular vada pav bun and put some dabeli paste. So bad…
My recommendation – only have gujrati thali at this restaurant. They have a broad menu but other things are bad.
You get 10% discount when you pay in cash or shop in Dana grocery stories which is on the same complex. This store is located within THE PLAZA AT AVERY RANCH and so enough parking is there to shop your groceries and have dinner too.
Wish the pricing is bit less or they should increase the quantity. Ambience is really good and the staffs are really friendly. CHAT ITEMS are really good too. LOVED THEIR GOBI LOLIPOP
There is open backspace with tables if any open party to be conducted.
What a rip off!! To top it off they give it in a single use plastic tray that just goes to landfill. They need to remove the word thali from the name of the dish
As we were reading through the menu, I did not recognize a lot of foods, and I asked the women who was serving what she would recommend, I let her know I wanted something spicy and would like to try something new, she was very confident in her choice, she told me to try the Dahi Sev Puri and we got some samosa. When we tried it was so amazing, the flavor, the blended spice, and texture it was very pleasant to our mouth!! Her recommendation was great a choice!
The best part to this day, other than the food is the genuine conversation the owner Pinal had with us for over 30 minutes. My husband and I really enjoyed getting to know her and laugh with her. She too recommend a dish Samosa Chole chat, which did not fail us. I enjoyed everything about the restaurant.
This is added to my number one list of Indian food spots! Thank you for the great experience!
The ambiance inside is nice, service was great. We tried chaat only and all the items were delicious – Gobi Manchurian, Pav Bhaji, Samosas.
