We love the ambiance. The service was really exceptional and very welcoming. Feb3rd table4 9pm… she’s really sweet and pretty, she even offered to take a picture of our family.
My kids loved every food served. Perfect and melts in your mouth experience. Will surely come back. The best sushi we ever had 🙂

Came with a friend on Friday at about 4pm. Luckily we came early because we didn’t have a reservation and the place quickly got packed. You order yourself on the iPad and it’s nice because there are pictures and descriptions of each item. You can also use the iPad to request the bill so you don’t have try to flag down a server.
The portion sizes of some things are quite small (e.g. the beef Tataki and the bowl). Other things like the Kaarage are quite big. The flavors are pretty good, it feels high quality but the prices are a bit steep.

Really good food and great atmosphere. Everything tasted really fresh, especially the sashimi and yakitori.
The portions however are pretty small so the prices can add up quickly. But it is a izakaya so you are expected to get smaller portions! At least the quality of the food was amazing.
Service also could be better as they were quite busy and didn’t have time to check in on how our food was. But it’s easy to order food as it is done on a tablet attached to your table.
I would recommend to get a reservation on the weekends!

We visited last Wednesday, February 4, around 9:40 PM to celebrate our special day. Unfortunately, we felt a bit disappointed with the udon noodles, as both the carbonara and the spicy seafood udon were very salty. We really tried to finish them, but it was difficult to continue eating because of the saltiness.
After a long shift, we traveled all the way from the south to the north just to try your food, which is why we were a little sad about the experience. On a positive note, the salmon was very good, and we also enjoyed the yakitori. The calamari portion was a bit small, but it tasted great.
We hope this feedback will get your attention and make some adjustments to the saltiness.

We absolutely loved our visit to Damso Izakaya! We ordered the roll bento box, miso soup, ramen and the salmon pressed sushi and everything came out so quick and was incredibly yummy. The salmon pressed sushi was a standout, but honestly every dish was fresh and flavorful.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole space has such a cool vibe. You can tell they put thought into the atmosphere. This is officially our new go-to spot, and we’re already excited to come back. Highly recommend!

Damso Izakaya is a fun spot to enjoy Japanese-style dining.
The tuna and salmon rolls were fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying.
We also tried the chicken skin skewers and edamame, which were perfect for snacking and sharing with friends.
The portions are generous, and everything is easy to eat and enjoy, making it a great place for a casual, filling, and enjoyable meal.

This place is amazing, the vibes as soon as you walk in, the food is so flavourful and pleasing. If you love Japan you’ll love this place. The pricing is awesome 44$ for 2! Only sort of bad part is parking, it’s right off the Main Street so parking varies.

We had Takoyaki, Carbonara Udon, and Midori Wave here. All of them were delicious, but my favorite was the Midori Wave, which was a type of sushi. The Calpico Yogurt drink tasted a bit like coconut milk. The portions were generous and enough for two people. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.
