Stopped in for early dinner. Sat in the dining area.Never been in before. Greeted right away. We ordered chicken basket/ fries/ slaw. 4 large pieces. It was very good and hot! Also, the shrimp basket, fries/slaw. Large breaded prawns cooked perfectly. Our server was very professional, kind and took care of us well. The food came out in a timely manor. Hope to come back to hear some music. Very clean restrooms and nice view of the river. Karaoke on Thursdays! Daily specials!

First time here. We were here at 5pm (not busy) hoping for tye $6 Smash Birger special bit they ran out during lunch. We were told they’re thawing another batch that would be available withijg the next hour. So my husband and dad ordered the Mushroom Swiss, I ordered the Nashville Chicken Wrap, and our friends ordered a bowl of chili and a boiled Walleye dinner.

I understand we all have pur off days but the waiter only gets 3 stars because [1] my wrap coke with Ranch or Blue Cheese, he never offered it (which I forgot all together when ordering). [2] he kept forgetting to give any of us any napkins. So I went to the bar area, where there was a plethora of paper towel rolls on every table and I grabbed for everyone at my table. After helping his second table, he came over with napkins and apologized. [3] I finally ordered my blue cheese but he must have been distracted because it took longer than I would expect to get it.
Food
I asked the waiter if it was policy to ask how burgers are done and he said they cook all of them medium-well. Both my husband’s and my dad’s burgers were undercooked, more so for husband (see pics). The waiter gave use half price for the burgers, which was the least he could do.
All in all, the walleye dinner was good, the chili was okay, but the fried were amazing. Great atmosphere with a nice signed Honor Wall for military folks.

First & foremost, we LOVE Damsite. Stopping here for convenience the first time when I had a phone call to make on our drive up to our lake home in Walker, we loved the atmosphere, wonderful employees (shout out to Ellie & Aylah), exceptional service and great food so much, we have become regulars at Damsite since our first time stopping.
The last time we were there was was on January 17th, and the menu had changed. Although interesting, many of our favorites (they see me and always knew I would order the steak alfredo) and my husband Dave loved the ribs, smashburger, and French dip. The menu now has limited options, so that was a disappointment, but at least we got to hug both Ellie & Aylah ❤️
Maybe add some steak options to the menu again? That would be great ‼️

After trying quite a few different things off the menu, I can say the food here is pretty darn good. (The pork belly tacos are a fave of mine). The service here is even better than the food. Aylah and Shurey are great bartenders, and do a great job at taking care of their customers even when they’re busy. Highly recommend.

Thursday night karaoke with Boss Dj is a blast we had so much fun!!! The servers especially Ayla are the best and take good care of their customers!!! If you haven’t been I highly recommend you go it’s an absolute blast!

The reason I go to this place is because of the Wall of Honor and everything they do for veterans. (And the great food) I have heard that the new owner is going to remove a portion of this Wall of Honor to open up the waitress station. This makes me extremely sad that those signatures on that wall are not important enough to her. I will not go to this place again if that wall is touched. The veterans that signed that wall deserve that respect!!!
UPDATE: The owner states the wall isn’t going to be touched anytime soon. I appreciate that and it should never be touched.
We went there for my birthday last week and had the most AMAZING server and I had the Reuben. SO GOOD. The pickle fries were small and crumbles, could have been better, but still good.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The manager is amazing, she is attentive as a bartender and the food is phenomenal. The vegetables are fresh and amazing. And the Cornish game hen is to die for. 100% amazing place

Damsite has a great wait staff, no breakfast but a good menu selection for lunch and dinner. Veterans, those serving and their family’s are reminded at the Damsite that they are appreciated.

Another wonderful meal at the Damsite. I had the salmon dinner, it was Delicious! Love the sauce! Hubby had the prime rib special which he thoroughly enjoyed, he had a salad, cup of soup & a baked potato with a very nice cut of prime rib, perfectly cooked. Our waitress was Rachel, she was very nice.
