Stopped here for dinner while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Really liked the atmosphere. Unfortunately because of the incoming weather we decided to eat indoors and not on the patio. We sat in the bar area and had a nice view of the ocean. It wasn’t too busy when we sat down but it got progressively busy as the evening went on. We got our appetizer quickly, mozzarella sticks, getting our dinner took a really long time. Too long. The food was very good though once we did get it and our waiter was very nice. I got a French dip sandwich which was very tasty and my husband got a half rack of ribs.

Came here with my family during our Myrtle beach trip. The ocean view from the patio was beautiful! I ordered the She-crab soup and the Mediterranean blackened shrimp, both were really great. The she-crab soup was so good that I wish I had asked them for the recipe so I could cook it myself! Most of my family’s food was great as well, excluding my step mom’s steak. She had ordered a medium rare steak, however when she had cut into it, it looked raw. There was also a tendon running all the way through it, so we ended up sending it back. The service of this restaurant was absolutely stellar! As soon as we made them aware that my step mothers food was sub par, they quickly did everything they could (and more) to ensure that the problem was fixed. We came relatively close to closing, so they were unable to make another steak or to make more chicken; however, they graciously gave us a plate of ribs with some sweet potato casserole (best sweat potato casserole I’ve ever had) AND two slices of chocolate cake (best chocolate cake I’ve had). On top of all of that, they discounted our check by 50%. I am absolutely impressed at this restaurant’s service, and we will definitely be stopping here again the next time we come to Myrtle Beach! Thank you so much for the good food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere!

Walked in and they were on a 30 minute wait, so we went and sat at the bar. Any and Stacy the bartenders were very nice. Took a while to get our food but they were very busy. I ordered the fried shrimp and my husband got the ribeye. Mine was hot and fresh, My husband was not but they quickly fixed it. It all was very good once fixed. Thank y’all for a wonderful anniversary dinner!

I have to go every time I visit Myrtle Beach. The food was awesome. My waitress Kristy was beyond awesome. I told her that she was a mind reader because my Goddaughter and I would be sitting there talking about what we need or would like & Kristy would pop up with it . It was the first time my Goddaughter had been there, and she loved it.

We sat at the bar. People that came in after us got served before us. The staff here is slow slower than molasses in the winter time. Our French onion soup,, never got it. The ceiling is actually dripping on us right now. I would never come back to this establishment for any type of food ever.

We love making this our last stop of our annual vacation to Myrtle Beach! The atmosphere is beautiful with it being by the ocean. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. The food is tasty…especially the pecan topped sweet potato Casserole! We look forward to this place every year!

The food was worth the wait. Once we arrived, we was told it was a 45-minute wait. The app tracks thr time 4 you. We was seated within 30 min. We love the view. Food was seasoned well.

First time at Damon’s, restaurant was very nice, beautiful view of the ocean and beach and we had high expectations. We went for lunch on a Friday and I have to say the food was decent, but not what I consider great or excellent. Aspects and dishes were very good, but others not so much, like the ribs that we were told they were known for. They were dry and not much meat and both mine and my wife’s food was warm, nothing was hot. Our server was mediocre and not overly attentive or friendly. It wasnot very busy at all and they did have alot of staff available, but we got to hear them all talk about their shifts, school, and so on which became a bit uncomfortable. Overall an okay experience. My gut tells me they can be better than this and I would ne willing to try one more time. Nice location and beautiful views, but need to step it up a bit. I will update after my next visit. I’m feeling generous giving a 3 star, but hoping for a better second visit.
