We had an amazing dinner there with a perfect weather and outdoor seating. We ordered sample artichoke feta black olive pizza, sample salad platter and beer with free refills option. Food was fresh and tasty, service fast and attentive.

We love our Wayzata D’Amico & Sons. The menu is reliable and the counter service is simple to navigate. There is outdoor dining available under the porch and also on the deck area. Take out options are easy to manage. I look forward to meeting up with friends in their dining space again soon.

Better than so many proper dine in Italian restaurants out there. Nice friendly staff and good section of sandwiches, soups and pastas.

D’Amico & Sons is hands down the best quick and healthy bite in Wayzata. The service is fast and the food tastes great. Everyone there loves their job and you can tell that instantly. They have a range of deserts to accompany an amazing meal. Would totally recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Fast, Tasty, Easy! Really amazing place

Saturday my wife and I went to D’Amico because of the high score on Google Maps. We came away quite disappointed because of somewhat high prices leading to small portions along with having to ask for bread to go with the meal and to find out after the fact we where charged without our approval .96 for employee wellness! Since when did this type of fee start being added to a bill without approval? The food did taste good and the restaurant was clean so that was some consolation.

The people are fun, friendly and helpful. The food is amazingly tasty! If you’ve never been, it’s a must for a fun experience in dining! Try the lasagna on a crisp, cold day…you won’t be disappointed.

Others have pointed out how much the food and service have slipped. Service isn’t horrible, but it’s been lacking for years. But the food is just so mediocre, and yet still so overpriced.

Understand, I”ve been going to Damico, the various locations, for as long as they’ve been around. In particular I’ve visited the Wayzata location consistently since it opened as it’s close by. I’ve watched the deterioration, but I assumed they’d eventually get the feedback and improve the quality of the food to where it used to be. But it’s only getting worse. Too bad, it really was a regular spot for my family for a long time. But there’s no reason to go there anymore.

I mean if you want really average food (and absolutely horrendous house red wine….don’t get it), and you want to overspend for that average food, then Damico is your place.

Brick Oven pizza, and scratch made sauces for a variety of pasta dishes. And an Italian deli for any possible sandwich you can imagine. This place has been around for a while in uptown, and I used to frequent it when I lived there. It is one of the better Italian restaurants in Minneapolis, even though it’s a chain. Friend of mine used to be a sous chef here. Because it is a chain all of their Outlets are remarkably alike. Is it the best pasta in town? No. Is it a respectable substitute for the best pasta in town which is an argument for food critics between one of three places that makes absolutely fresh pasta on the spot. But this place is open at lunch and none of those places are.

While the food is normally pretty good, just ate their brisket sandwich where there was more fat than meat. When I told the employee at the register about it, he thanked me.
When I left restaurant I noticed an “employee wellness charge” of 3% on the check? Eaten in 1000’s of restaurants in my life, this is a new one on me.

This is the best D’Amico&Sons location! The staff here understands the time crunch of lunch hour and works as a team in an expedient manner. I’ve called ahead to order take out and it’s either ready upon arrival or very soon after. The service here is so fast and the phones are tied up during lunch hour so there really isn’t a need to call ahead. Whether stopping in for a quick lunch or having a casual dinner, the veggie foccacia and staff are sure to please.
