My husband started coming here when he was 8 years old (now in his 60’s) and it’s been a staple restaurant in our family. I remember dressing my kids up for dinner at the Dam Site Inn . The place is exactly the same and we love that. A piece of history and heaven. The FOOD and service is AMAZING.

To be fair, it was busy, but we waited 2 hours AFTER we ordered our food to be served. There was a mix-up with our order, and it got forgotten. Waitress was very nice and apologized. We did not see a manager. There was no offer for a discount or complimentary dessert. Love love LOVE this place! A cozy time warp that gives you an immediate mid century hug when you walk in. The atmosphere is just wonderful and the attention to detail and showcase of antiques is impressive. Delicious chicken dinners with creative relishes and out of this world homemade buttered noodles. It reminded me of the Clubhouse on Dirty Dancing. Decor straight out of that era. It was fantastic. The fried Chicken was amazing. Best Brandy Alexander I have had. And the homemade poppy seed dressing. Amazing.
