From the moment I stepped into Skyline Cafe, I noticed the staff’s dedication to providing excellent service. They seamlessly cleared tables, took orders, and collected payments with ease. Despite the seemingly busy environment, the staff worked together harmoniously, ensuring that each customer was attended to promptly.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Sky Cafe certainly doesn’t disappoint in this aspect. The menu offered a variety of options, and the portions were plentiful, especially considering the price. I left the restaurant feeling fully satisfied with leftovers for 3 more days.
We ordered the 3 dish combo meal which comes with the house soup and unlimited rice. I didn’t know the portions were so big, so I ordered an additional noodle. All dishes came out quick, hot, and very tasty.
the delicious food and generous portions ensured that I will be visiting again in the future.
Anyhow, the food here is tasty. The Chow Fun (flat rice noodles) is a bit greasy though, but.is very filling. The Porridge with Preserved Salted Pork with a thousand years old egg (black preserved egg) is also good. And I really like their Deep Fried Garlic Chicken Wings. All was very good. It was very filling (probably grease) and to the point. The flavor was obviously there… Especially the Chow Fun. Not the healthiest thing to put in our tummy, but we all splurge unhealthily at times.
Parking was abundant late at nights compared to the weekends where you’ll literally have to fight for a space. Probably too many stores and not enough parking spaces for the plaza.
The Skyline Cafe is convenient and very affordable. A bit on the dirty side and decor is pretty weird but is excused because this is a dive.
Food came out of the kitchen unusually fast this time. We were the only ones in the restaurant so we came at a good time.
The best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to only take cash and this place is no exception.
Love their curry beef stew.
The last time I came here, one of the workers accidentally spilled a customer’s ice water on their table, did not even apologize, picked up the same cup and used it to scoop new ice and refilled the water. HOW UNSANITARY WTH ♀️. I mean, majority of the Asian/Chinese restaurants to be honest are disgusting, but this guy literally did it infront of the customer. He was shouting “Stop! That is dirty!” while his coworkers were translating telling him the customer is telling him it’s not clean. Then they started talking crap about the customer knowing he wouldn’t understand teasing that he is no longer eating and staring at them.
Then they went into the kitchen, came out, and started talking crap about someone else. The lady who possibly be the owner’s mouth is the worst out of all of them. They are all older than 50. Are they kids? SMH.
