Reviews
I didn’t leave a review last time reflecting our experience because as a family owned business ourself I’m a firm believer in everyone has an off day, but we are here yet again. The last time we came in, my chicken livers were Undercooked and raw in the center to which I didn’t notice until after we had left and I didn’t have time to go back and raise the issue prior to my lunch break ending.
This evening we came in to eat supper with our three-year-old son around 6:30 at night. There was three other tables seated within the whole restaurant two of which already had their food. We put in our order and proceeded to sit down. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, fried livers with fries, and a grilled cheese with fries for our son. Multiple to go orders were placed after us, and all of which were fulfilled before a single one of our dishes were brought out. After sitting for 20 minutes, I saw our food placed at the window. With a very eager, three-year-old getting antsy and hungry this was a relief, but unfortunately, the food proceeded to stay sitting in the window for the next 10 minutes…. again, while other orders were being filled.
By the time we got my son’s grilled cheese, it had sat at the window so long that it was no longer melted, but rather Re-solidified, And my fiancé’s burger was burnt (And it seems they have gone back to using the Flanders burgers which are nasty to begin with in my opinion). The burnt flavor was too much for fiancé to eat so he wasn’t able to finish it.
Aside from that, portions were decent with more fries than I could finish and were cooked well. And the one girl we spoke to on the way out was quite nice whereas everyone else seemed like they didn’t want to be there. I’m sure maybe the staff was tired and ready to call it a night but it is still off putting to be made feel like the are frustrated they are having to deal with you.
I hope the constructive criticism is taken well and the can improve for the better.
Tabatha was very sweet and friendly.
The morning staff made the trip well worth it.
I will definitely recommend!
I am all for supporting local business and want to see them thrive, but when the food is fake and frozen just like every other restaurant in town they make it a lot easier to go spend else ware for less money.
The one positive thing was that the lady at the window was very nice and attentive.
