As a foodie, I’m quite unsure how I’ve managed to pass by this restaurant so many times with never going in. Everything was truly phenomenal. The flavors, textures, and temperatures of every single thing we ordered were superb. The atmosphere is quaint, quiet, and romantic. The service was phenomenal and we truly have no complaints.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so cozy and elegant!! The wait staff genuinely made our night. They were so friendly and ensured we got everything we needed. They were so proud of their food and happy to be serving us. Multiple different people including the owner came up to me and my boyfriend and made sure we were being served to our satisfaction which exceeded expectations. It was especially nice because we are a younger couple and they made sure to care about our experience regardless. Best place in Little Italy!!

My husband and I are regulars here. We drive 45 minutes to eat here.
You will not find a better Italian restaurant in Baltimore.
As other reviewers have written the service, portions, freshness of the food, the ambiance, it’s perfect.
The pasta is made in house. The desserts are to die for. Tiramisu is the best I have had in the US.
Garlic bread perfect. Caesar salad, most entrees incredible.

The owners are looking for a buyer since they want to retire so go sooner than later.

We had such a good dinner here!! The service was phenomenal- they were prompt without making anybody feel rushed, the food was AMAZING, and the ambiance was really nice. We especially liked our server Tony! He offered great suggestions for our food and was funny and quick-witted. We really enjoyed the experience overall but especially because of him!

We were in town for business and decided to try out a restaurant in Little Italy. This was the first restaurant we saw and quickly got a table for 4 without a reservation. The dining room was so cute – love the art on the walls! Alex provided excellent service – he should teach a class. The food and drinks were delicious! Everyone in my party was satisfied. I had the lasagna, and it was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. My colleague and I shared a Caesar and kept telling each other how much we liked the dressing. The gnocchi melted in our mouths! The owners stopped by our table and chatted a bit – personable and professional. We had a great time and definitely will be back if ever in town.

This place hit all the marks: ambiance, service, and food. Located in a beautiful building in little Italy, this was decorated perfectly (not overdone or underdone), where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome.

The service was great. It was impeccably clean, and the food was delicious. We started out with a Cesar salad for an appetizer, and it was outstanding (you don’t often hear people rave about the salad). The dressing was perfectly balanced… not too sharp, and the croutons were fresh and not overpowering. The pastas were very
good. The Mediterranean pasta has giant shrimp, mushrooms, and scallops, and the bolognese was rich and flavorful. If you are into wine, they had a lot of high-end wines.

Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

We came here for a date night! Food is always fantastic! Get the insalata umbria! So good. Also the penne vodka always a hit.
Good quality, great wines, and always friendly service. Our server, Tony, was great! Love this place! Always a staple in Little Italy!

Italian-American restaraunt: The man that seated us was a wonderful touch! TONY was the star waiting on us tonight! They also seated us with a very last minute reservation! It is great to talk to such an interesting and indulging person, especially a true Italian! The pasta itself was good and had a good bounce in the bite, al dente. I personally was not much for the cream sauce in the Mediterranean but I did enjoy the mushrooms and seafood (clam, shrimp). The colognes that my wife ordered was very tasty. The ground veal was very good. The garlic bread beforehand was also of a nice flavor and crunch.

This is a fantastic local treasure. The third oldest restaurant in the neighborhood, the tradition and dedication comes through in the flavors and services.

I chose to enjoy the shrimp and crab over gluten free pasta for my first visit. An enjoyable Moscato rounded out my meal. Yas provided attentive service and the host, Paul, provided engaging conversation regarding his 40 years with the establishment.

The restaurant’s front dining room intimately sports only 5 tables that accommodate parties of 4 or less. The conversations are but a respectful murmur invoking a cozy atmosphere. The low bar, not designed for lounging or sitting, provides libations to the diners.

I highly recommend this hidden gem amongst the towering structures that have cropped up around it.

We had an amazing experience at Dalesio’s Italian Restaurant! A huge thank you to Paul for getting us a last-minute reservation on Valentine’s Day—it truly meant so much to us.

From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was superb—authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor—and the service was warm, attentive, and perfectly timed. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

We will definitely be back!
