I had to stop and leave a review. I came in with a party of 6, no reservation during a fairly busy time. We didn’t have to wait for long. I got the Gongoozler. DELICIOUS. The home fries and sausage links were definitely the highlight of this dish. Everything else my friends got also looked good. I don’t live around here but when I pass by again I will be coming back!

WOW! Best sausage gravy I’ve had since moving to Ohio/Toledo area! The chicken and cornmeal Belgian waffle was delicious! — I wish it was a regular menu item, not just a special! And the corned beef hash? So good and homemade—not canned! Every bite was amazing. Honestly, the only thing I’m bummed about is that it took me so long to find this place. Can’t wait to come back!

Dale’s Diner is incredible! Just wanted to get that out of the way, keep reading for details….
We were in town for a church conference. Just a short one for the weekend. I had some other youth leaders with me and we were excited to try some local dining options, as one does when you’re traveling. We do our best to avoid chains and try to get local fair that we cannot get back home. Dale’s was kind of a random choice on day one. We went there for lunch in between sessions. The food was so great that day two, was not random. All seven of us agreed to go back there again. I really wanted to try their plate size Pancakes on day two, but because we were headed home right after that I was a little worried about eating something so heavy lol. So instead, I got another one of their delicious smash burgers. FYI the onion rings, should you choose to try them, are crispy and amazing. Same goes for the tots. Excellent! I cannot speak for the rest of their menu, but I’d be willing to bet that it’s like everything else that we tried while we were there, unforgettable. If you’re in the area I highly recommend checking out Dale’s Diner at least once… maybe even twice.

Coming in on a Saturday, we already knew the place would be busy, but the staff were great and was able to accommodate the 11 more people.
I have the Hillbilly Benny special, very good and filling – it was gone before I knew it! The skillet was excellent as well. In fact, none of the dishes has any complaint.
Wish this place was a little bigger and took Reservations. Other than that, I definitely recommend it!

We went on a Saturday morning, and this place was packed. We had to wait for about 5 minutes before we got a table, which isn’t bad considering there was a line when we got there. It’s a small little like family owned diner. Everyone was super friendly. The food was amazing. The French toast was the best. My husband had what they called the Gongoosler. Now that’s a breakfast plate. It came with 3 eggs, 3 kinds of meat, potatoes, and bread. The prices are great, not too expensive. Definitely recommend that if you’re in the area, you should try this place out. They are open from like 9am to 2pm

Staff was very friendly, you can tell everyone enjoys working together. We had breakfast burritos and an omelet and they were both cooked very well and had great flavor. Small thing, but I was very happy with, was hot tea. Was served a variety of tea packets instead of just Lipton.

There was parking on the street for this establishment. When we arrived which was around 11am on Sunday. I ordered the eggs, hashbrowns, white toast and bacon. Everything was so delicious! We had a bit of a wait. But we had heard good things and we were patient. We noticed a long line appeared while we waited for our food. The waitress moved fast and tried their best. I would advise anyone to try this!

I had the malted waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. The lemonade was very bitter but nice service for my family of ten and a baby!

Family of 3 popped in for breakfast around 10am. There was a wait so we ate at the counter with no issues. Good coffee, fast service, and great food!

Even my son who is a very picky eater loved their food. He ate their children’s pancakes and bacon. He also said that it was 10x better than Bob Evans.

Highly recommend!!
