I hadn’t been here in YEARS just because I hadn’t gone that direction. I had almost forgotten it was there until I was in the area with friends and someone suggested it. I was INSTANTLY reminded of just how fabulous the food was!! The service was super friendly and nice and offered great advice. Let me add… My Dad is a Banana Pudding snob… Because he was raised with women who made it incredibly well!!! He LOVED it!!! So… If you like AMAZING Banana Pudding, go get you some at Dale’s!!!

Went there last night after leaving a wake. My original meal was delicious. But I ordered a loaded baked potato with no chives to go, mentioned no chives more than once. When I got my order it was loaded with chives. I asked waitress could I get a refund or another one because I really can’t eat chives. She said the kitchen was closed, she didn’t hear me say no chives but she could take it to the back and hand pick the chives off. Now, I have a large potato that looks delicious but I can’t eat it because the chives (green onions) will make me sick.

I hadn’t been here since the renovation and I needed some comfort food. One of the special for Tuesday was beef tips over rice with 3 sides. Got cabbage, black eyed peas, fried okra with cornbread. Of course sweet tea. There is a reason people keep coming here. Everything was good. Peas almost burned my mouth bc they were so hot lol. Will continue to come here for lunch.

Greeted when we walked in and was seated very quickly. Server came and got drink orders quickly and made sure our cups stayed full. She was super nice and friendly. I had the meat loaf. It was super sweet. I was confused because I never had sweet meatloaf. Not a fan. Also had the catfish which was good. Macaroni wasn’t horrible but not the best either. Didn’t like the mash potatoes and gravy at all. This place stays busy so I’m sure they have good food. I may try here again…

We dined here years ago, and it was not a good experience. The new decore is great and the food is greatly improved. The fried chicken is very good, as is the meatloaf. The country fried steak is also good. The sides were spot on and we have returned several times now. Highly recommend Dale’s! Although the service is good, a big shout out to Bella!

Ordered through Uber Eats it may taste better dining in not willing to try again the fish was chewy tough breading coming off shrimp I took the breading off the inside was dough potato was a potato bland my first time trying Daleeeessss and my last food was nasty flat out two stars is for the portion but the okra was good though ❤️ and yea the wedges was fresh out the bag meaning they was chewy soggy salt

This is a review of two specifc aspects of Dale’s, both stellar. 1. I have never had a yeast/dinner roll made from corn meal. I was missing out on one of the wonders of the south. My first and second basket were both fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Do not miss this very special offering. Our other food choices were cool but this was the one to write home about.
2. The service was the exact southern hospitality the area is known for. We enjoyed a very pleasant greeter, friendly wait staff and attentive manager who all made us feel welcomed. Excellent service across the board.
