I’d say this is the best Indian restaurant in town! As a Vietnamese person, Indian food was never really my thing but this place is different, and I absolutely love it. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, especially the manager, who always gives the best food recommendations and clearly knows the menu inside and out. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at this restaurant — the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. While the portion sizes could be a bit more generous(especially samosa), the flavours were top-notch and truly made up for it. I would recommend Pepper Chicken
Overall, it’s a fantastic place with amazing food and warm service. Highly recommend!

Really good food although the menu wasn’t clear on which dishes contained nuts.
The samosa’s contained cashews
The service was great however one of the staff was watching instagram videos with full sound which was really irritating.

Third time’s the charm – or maybe I’m just hooked. My wife and I ended up at Dalcheeni after catching the latest Crayon Shin-chan movie (yes, somehow animated chaos makes you crave chapati). And once again, this place delivered.
We started with the Green Salad. Honest feedback? It’s literally fresh veggies cut and lined up – clean and crisp, but left us wondering, “Should we drizzle something? Make a wrap? Just… fork away?” Not bad, just felt like a sidekick, not the hero.
Then came the real stars: two curries – a chicken “massarani”-style (forgive me if I butchered the name) and a butter-rich shrimp curry. The chicken was outstanding – tender, perfectly spiced, layers of flavor without being heavy. The shrimp curry was a close second: creamy, slightly sweet, and indulgent.
To scoop it all up, we had garlic naan, plain naan, and something chapati-like. The naan was pillowy and fragrant; the garlic one disappeared fast. The chapati felt more rustic – less showy, but solid.
Service? Friendly as always, staff genuinely seem happy to have you there. Interior? Sophisticated but not stiff – polished without feeling cold.
Dalcheeni keeps proving why it’s a top spot in Hanoi for Indian food. Minor salad puzzle aside, it’s the flavors and hospitality that keep me coming back. Already looking forward to round four.

I came to Vietnam for the food and culture, but Dalcheeni make me want to book my next flight to india. I have an indian friend join me on this trip, first of all i may have a bad impression about indian food cause of the social media or maybe because a small part of indian people. But i own indian food an apologize, my friend insist me to try it and then wow….. The flavour was strong but it mixed well, i have a shock at first bite, the seasoning the meat, veggies the rice. It’s like everything, every flavour all at once. It’s like my nose and my tongue got punch with flavour. It’s a new experience and i would like to try it again any time, as soon as possible. My friend said the flavour, the dressing isn’t as strong as in india, but it give him a good tatse of home. So i insist if you come to hanoi, try it, give it a chance or if u from india and u missing home, Dalcheeni will be a good call.
p/s : i heard they also have a same one in Saigon city.

Amazing food and super friendly staff! The curries were full of flavor, the naan was soft and fresh, and everything tasted authentic. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to – can’t wait to come back!

Visited this restaurant recently for the first time and wow!!
From the moment we entered Sean the owner was so welcoming advising us the best place within the restaurant at that time to sit and be very comfortable.
He then was explaining certain items and recommending items from the menu.
The food is simply awesome, freshly cooked and a totally different Indian than we have back home in the UK.
I recommend the chicken chill and chicken tikka masala… excellent.
We also shared samosa, butter and garlic naan bread and their rice was delicious too.
Absolutely no negatives here whatsoever and the price was very reasonable too.
