Fantastic experience. They opened 8 weeks ago, and we were excited to give them a try. Service and food were excellent. Had the Caesar salad, farmhouse pizza, and the beef brisket with roasted veggies/potatoes. Also got a chocolate ganache cake for dessert. Everything was delicious.

A few small things if I were to nitpick: I would say that I wished the egg on the farmhouse pizza had been cooked more soft… I was hoping the yoke would spill out, but it was closer to hard-boiled. The arugula on the pizza was overpowering, and I think smaller leaves might be preferable. I would have liked to be able to see the Prosciutto (and other ingredients) but I assume it may have been hidden under the arugula. As for the brisket, it was very tender and well seasoned. I really liked the roasted potatoes, but I didn’t think the squash/zuchini slices (roasted veggies) were necessarily a good pair with the brisket. The server had offered roasted broccoli as an alternative, and I think that probably would have been a better option.

Other than my nitpicks, it was overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

As a 25 year Hospitality Veteran, it is often tough to turn off my industry brain. Constantly looking at things happening and subconsciously judging how it is performing. I can be annoying to go out with lol

Family was in town and we always love finding new places to eat. Del Fuoco came up and I made a reservation for 5 people on a Saturday.

Parking was rough but that is no knock to the restaurant… Clifton is just a mess sometimes.

We arrived on time at 630. I was surprised how cozy it was as their website seems a bit dated and I was expecting dated inside but it wasn’t at all. Their decor was based on pictures of Europe through projectors on the wall with rotating images. I thought it was kind of cool.

David our server gave honestly some of the best service I have seen. I mean he was on it. I appreciated him establishing expectations for the flow of service from the jump. That is usually something that is missed but not by David. We loved he only called my mother the birthday girl. I was a bit surprised there wasn’t a birthday dessert offered as David did make a point of acknowledging her birthday often. No shade at David. He was amazing.

Food was pretty solid, came out very quickly which scared me at first, meatballs could have been a bit warmer but they weren’t cold. One person in our party had the recommended lasagna and was a fan. The pizza I got was obviously wood fired which I liked. The bottom could have been a little thicker as the sauce made it a little soggy. Very fresh ingredients though.

At the end of the day there are a few kinks to work out but for only being open a short time I was a big fan. They just got their liquor license which I’m sure will help them.

You should definitely go to this place for a pizza and acqua fresca. Ask for David

Thank you Del Fuoco for the memorable experience

Just tried this new restaurant and it’s amazing. Great location, welcoming staff, and awesome service from David. The food is authentic Italian, octopus carpaccio omg, so good. And don’t skip the limoncello cake, it’s the perfect dessert.
Highly recommend!

We were excited to try this relatively new spot after reading the glowing reviews. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is lovely….modern, casually elegant and comfortable. The service was warm, welcoming and flawless. The menu offers a wide variety of choices that range from traditional favorites to some interesting innovative creations. We kept it fairly basic for our first visit….an arugula apple salad; a rosemary, potato and apple salad; and lasagna. The salad was a generous portion of well-balanced ingredients tossed with just enough of a delicious house-made vinaigrette dressing to be perfect. The pizza was interesting – a light, airy crust cooked in a stone deck oven with a slight char and well balanced toppings. The lasagna was, like the salad, a generous portion of well-balanced ingredients. My preferences for the pizza and the lasagna would have made slight adjustments, but these are just my preferences —- the pizza would have had a slightly crispier crust and a bit more seasoning (maybe some garlic in the base and a bit of added Italian herbs in the ricotta) and the lasagna would have had a bit more cheese (ricotta and mozzarella) and a bit more overall seasoning in the sauce. Again, these are merely nuanced (and almost certainly overly picky) suggestions from someone who grew up surrounded by Italian food, has his undergraduate degree from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration and has owned several Italian restaurants which I offer as constructive commentary for the chef, not as criticism that affects my five-star rating. Beyond the atmosphere, service and food, this delightful spot offers a very nice wine list and a good selection of specialty cocktails. We tried a limoncello Aperol spritz that was large and refreshing. This place is a must-try that I highly recommend.

Dal Fuoco is such a great spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food is consistently amazing — everything tastes fresh and full of flavor.

Rachel was fantastic and made the whole experience even better with her attentive and friendly service. Lisa behind the bar was just as great.. the drinks were perfect and she brings a really fun, welcoming vibe to the place.

Great food, great drinks, and great people. Definitely recommend checking out Dal Fuoco!

Visited Dal Fuoco’s for the first time tonight, and was very happy with the experience. Made reservations for 6:30, and when we arrived we were seated in a very busy area that caused my date some anxiety issues.
However, the staff were very gracious and accommodating, and relocated us to a quieter part of the restaurant without embarrassment. 10/10
Next, the food was delicious.
I had the Pasta Bolognese, a dish I know well, and their take on it was excellent right down to the noodles, that were buttery and light. 8.5/10
My date chose the Eggplant Parmigiana, and relayed that the taste was excellent, but she felt it wasn’t quite as substantial as she might have wished. 7/10
Desert was a decision between the Chocolate Ganache Cake and the Limoncello Mascarpone Layer Cake.
We chose the latter, and that was a great decision!
In the words of my guest, “That was the best lemon cake I think I’ve ever had”, and they agreed when I joked with them by saying “That lemon cake showed me just how good a lemon cake can be!” 10/10
The staff was wonderful.
From the gentleman at the door, to our server, and the manager of the restaurant, everyone was kind, considerate, and welcoming. 10/10
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Del Fuoco’s to our friends, and I’m glad to do the same for you.

Had a fantastic dinner here last night! The food was absolutely delicious, but the service really set the experience apart. Our waiter, David, was incredibly knowledgeable and ‘knew his stuff’ when it came to the menu. Every recommendation he made was completely on point. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. It’s a great new addition to the neighborhood, I will definitely be back!
