After a long day, we went to Dal Dong Nae since it was late and we were in the area.
The place is definitely very homey and run by a small crew. I do think prices were slightly on the higher end and service was a little slow, but again, given the circumstances, I personally did not mind.
There is an impressive selection of banchan that could almost be a full meal in itself. They were all very fresh and high quality.
I ordered the galbi and spicy cold noodles. The galbi came on a sizzling plate. It was tender and flavorful. However, it was expensive, at almost the same price of dinner AYCE KBBQ. I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of the spicy cold noodles, not because it was bad, but more so due to personal preference. The portion size was very generous though.
My family ordered the shrimp fried rice and bulgogi quesadilla. The fried rice was very solid; it had good flavor, texture, and they nailed the portion of vegetables, protein, and rice. The bulgogi quesadilla was also delicious and I appreciate the creativity. The combination of bulgogi, japchae, and cheese might sound sacrilegious to some, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Try the Bulgogi Quesadilla, you will not be disappointed. Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! The soup reminds me of grandmas house. So full of flavor and huge portion. This place is a must try!!!!!!

Everything was amazing! Decided to try a new restaurant out tonight and this place did not disappoint. Staff were sweet, welcoming and attentive. Lots of side dishes came with our meal. The short rib soup was delicious & comforting! The grilled pork belly was good, loved making a lettuce wrap with it! Definitely recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited Dal Dong Nae, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, with standout dishes like the “Doe Ji Bo Sam” and “A Goo Jjim.” The flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. I also had the “Korean noodle in soup,” which was comforting and full of depth—a perfect choice to round out the meal. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Korean cuisine with great service, Dal Dong Nae is a must-visit! Highly recommend!

I’ve been a big fan of this place and the food is always good but recently had a bad experience ordering Kim chi jigae to go. The worker couldn’t understand what it was and asked me to order in an English so I asked for “kimchi pork stew” but she still misheard me and they ended up making the $40 version of the kimchi jigae dish instead of the $15 version. How can you be at a Korean restaurant and not know what Kim chi ji gae is or the Korean name of some dishes?

Came here for the big soups, realized they’re big for a party of 2 so tried other options. Had the spicy pork, bibimbap, and a dumpling soup. The Bibimbap was the best as it had plenty of the toasty burnt rice that stick to the pan. The place has good parking being in a shopping strip. They have tables and booths for seating. Is not too big and not too small. Coming back for a soup!!

Cute cozy Korean spot near ktown in Dallas. This restaurant is 100% authentic Korean. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served and quality. We tried the bibimbap and spicy pork both were amazing. The mandu soup was also very good and very filling. Everything was delicious right down to the kimchi.
It is a family operated restaurant but service was still fast. Definitely will come back again. Loved this little gem.

It’s a good place but not all dishes are good. It’s a bit pricey. We ordered beef ribs (Gal Bi) and stir fried squid, these 2 were good. But cod fish egg spicy soup had not much flavor, the fish eggs were over cooked they were hard and dry. Love their small side dishes (banchan). Service was good.
