Indira garu truly has magic in her hands! The food was absolutely delicious and took me back to my grandma’s kitchen — full of warmth and nostalgia.
The gravies were perfectly blended and beautifully balanced. The kolambu had the ideal mix of tamarind and jaggery with just the right amount of salt and spice. Bisi bele bath, vangi bath, and thair sadam were outstanding. The beans poriyal, beetroot poriyal, and rasam made the meal so comforting and authentic.
The desserts were exceptional — payasam, jangiri, kova poori, and Mysore pak were rich, fresh, and simply irresistible.
Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic South Indian Experience with Heartwarming Hospitality

I had an amazing experience at this South Indian restaurant! The veg thali was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, and a great variety that truly represents traditional South Indian cuisine.

What made the experience even more special is the owner, Indra Amma. She is such a wonderful and kind lady who serves food with genuine love and care. She even offered extra servings without any additional charge, which shows her generosity and hospitality.

The sweets were top-notch — fresh, perfectly sweetened, and simply unforgettable.

If you’re looking for homestyle South Indian food made with love, this is the place to visit. Highly recommended!

This vegetarian restaurant is a wonderful addition to Fremont! They’ve recently had their soft launch and are now open for dine-in. The ambience is clean, pleasant, and very welcoming.

The food is prepared by experienced chefs (Sri Catering, Bay Area) and truly captures the taste of homestyle South Indian vegetarian cooking. I tried the dosa, idly, upma, pongal, bisibelebath, and vaangi bath — everything was fresh, flavorful, and comforting. There are many tiffin options to choose from.

Their takeaway curries like kuruma, poriyal, kootu, sambar, and rasam are excellent and perfect for a quick, wholesome meal at home. They also stock fresh sweets, snacks, podis, batters, and pickles, which makes it a great one-stop place for authentic South Indian food items.

Definitely worth a visit!

Seems to be a mom and pop shop. Food is very delicious, tastes homemade and is fresh. The staff ( owners?) are very friendly. The food is also very reasonably priced. We had plain dosa, bisi bele bhaath and puri and all items tasted good.

The only negative is that the service is slow. Overall still a great option. I will order again.

These 5 stars is for service and as well as the traditional and authentic food, I had Thali here as my brunch meal which is so delicious and feels like I have been offered food as a prasadam at the temple.

The food here feels incredibly authentic and thoughtfully prepared, just like my mom makes it. The flavors are balanced, not over-the-top, and very nutritious.

Not bad. Had the combo plate. Vada and pongal were quite tasty and authentic. Idli was soft but (literally!) had some rough edges. Probably over re-steamed. Chutneys were spicy. Coffee was a tad too milky.
