The gravies were perfectly blended and beautifully balanced. The kolambu had the ideal mix of tamarind and jaggery with just the right amount of salt and spice. Bisi bele bath, vangi bath, and thair sadam were outstanding. The beans poriyal, beetroot poriyal, and rasam made the meal so comforting and authentic.
The desserts were exceptional — payasam, jangiri, kova poori, and Mysore pak were rich, fresh, and simply irresistible.
Highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at this South Indian restaurant! The veg thali was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, and a great variety that truly represents traditional South Indian cuisine.
What made the experience even more special is the owner, Indra Amma. She is such a wonderful and kind lady who serves food with genuine love and care. She even offered extra servings without any additional charge, which shows her generosity and hospitality.
The sweets were top-notch — fresh, perfectly sweetened, and simply unforgettable.
If you’re looking for homestyle South Indian food made with love, this is the place to visit. Highly recommended!
The food is prepared by experienced chefs (Sri Catering, Bay Area) and truly captures the taste of homestyle South Indian vegetarian cooking. I tried the dosa, idly, upma, pongal, bisibelebath, and vaangi bath — everything was fresh, flavorful, and comforting. There are many tiffin options to choose from.
Their takeaway curries like kuruma, poriyal, kootu, sambar, and rasam are excellent and perfect for a quick, wholesome meal at home. They also stock fresh sweets, snacks, podis, batters, and pickles, which makes it a great one-stop place for authentic South Indian food items.
Definitely worth a visit!
The only negative is that the service is slow. Overall still a great option. I will order again.
