I ordered the butter chicken and rice with a side of garlic naan. It was delicious! The chicken was perfectly tender and so flavorful! The naan bread was amazing, and was somehow even better smothered in the sauce from the chicken! It was a a very good amount of food as well, for only $15!

This is my youngest daughter’s and my favorite place to eat. I always get the chicken tikka masala with plain naan while she loves the chicken shahi korma with garlic naan and OF COURSE, samosas all around! Pair it with a mango or guava maaza to drink and it doesn’t get any better!

Please avoid this place if you are looking for genuine Indian cuisine. Naan served from frozen packet, taste was not good at all for rest of the items served. If we have to eat already made frozen food we would prefer to microwave it in our house.

The shop is a bit small, but their food is really good. And the best part is that the meats are halal.
We tried several veg and non veg items like samosa, puri vaji, chicken 65, lamb biryani. I liked this chicken 65 and lamb biryani better than Taste of India (which is actually our go to place). Their chai is also great.

The food is good. People are very nice and friendly. However among all the food available, I have to say Baingan barta is always bad. It always has burnt smell and almost impossible to eat. I have added 2 times randomly to check maybe it was a one time issue. However its not! Im mainly writing this to inform the hotel management if they look at my comment, the chef should be notified and definitely changed.

Went to this place during our visit to Purdue. I am vegetarian and this place has plenty of veg options. ordering the food itself was easy. They have self order board like Mac Donald’s where you can see pictures plus prices before ordering which is helpful as I get confused while ordering on the counter.
The place was packed and does not have enough seating and also do not expect of ambience of any sort. But the place is clean, they serve fast and accurate, price is fair and portion size is good, which is more than enough for college town restaurant.
We ordered dosa, a plate and malai kofta. In a plate came two curries, naan, rice and dessert. food was fresh and delicious. I would go there again without any doubt.

Food was alright for a campus setting. Definitely not the best Indian food in town, but it pretty affordable and quick. Certain menu items like dosa are inconsistent in their availability. Spice level also really fluctuates.

Dakahin is a great restaurant! I love the food and the options. Whenever I go here I order the Mini Thali because it is great value and it a perfect full meal. I love the quantities for the Mini Thali given its current price. I hope that this is always the same quantities amd price because it’s perfectly amazing! I always want to order Indian food from here because of this Mini Thali. It comes with a choice of two curries, rice, choice of bread and gulaab jaamun, perfect meal. And here you can even see that I barely finished my food! I love it!
