We live in Minnesota and go out of our way to stop here on our way to Lake Metigoshe. We have always had excellent service when dining here – their servers have always been so friendly and pleasant – lots of genuine smiles.

So when I pulled up and saw that this restaurant was attached to a hotel I had my doubts but this place was what I was looking for. The food portions and prices were good and the waitress was very nice and patient. The decor is cute and the area was quite and clean. The food was very good. Reminds me of an old dinner but not the grease dirty ones. Overall I will definitely be back and I will recommend this to everyone.

They were a little slow but that was to be expected since it was noon on a Sunday and they were busy with what looked like a post-church crowd. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and worth the wait.

We ate over in the bar side which is quieter and more intimate. So much better to be able to talk and visit. Our bartender is very good at seeing if your drink is getting low and asking if you want another. She also brought our food to us which was delicious. I think it is a bit faster to get your food on the bar side.

I ordered “The Beast Sandwich” and the waitress was kind enough to add sauteed mushrooms to it and a side of Au Jus… it was one of the most amazing sandwiches I have ever had. light horseradish in their cheese and sauce along with the sauteed onions and mushrooms over thinly sliced roast beef… WOW! It was so good I had to post about it. Service was great too.

Not many choices out here, but glad we stopped in here. The food was great and waitress was too. We needed a place to park our big truck and they had a big parking lot. Easy to get in and out.

Our food was excellent I had breakfast and my grandson had a hamburger and fries. It was very good and our waitress was very good and pleasant. The atmosphere was quiet. And they had interesting things to look at. They heart a large selection of homemade pies and other baked goods what you don’t find often. I thought the prices were a little high for a small town Hometown eating.
