This is a nice place to grab some good food. Got the fish and chips with moderate expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised that the batter had flavor and it was really good. Many places disappoint with their fish, but they did not. My daughters both enjoyed their meals as well. Even though it was pretty busy, the staff worked hard at getting us served in a decent amount of time. When I find myself in Vermillion again, I will have to stop back in.

We stopped in on a Friday night. Despite being busy, our server was quick and attentive. Food came quickly and all of it was amazing. We started out with the Big A*!# Pretzel, which is exactly what it claims to be. It was huge, hot, fluffy and comes with 3 amazing dips. My wife had the Brick House Burger, which she said was amazing. My son had the chicken tenders which were huge and delicious. Lastly, I had the Sirloin Steak dinner, which comes with a choice of two sauces. I chose the creamy brandy mushroom sauce, which was delicious. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection. It also came with a choice of two of four sides. I chose the side salad, which was just right, and the crispy brussels sprouts, which were excellent! Nice atmosphere here, and we were impressed! We’ll certainly be back when in the area!

We were seated fairly quickly and received our drinks shortly after being seated. We ordered a few whiskey sours and the Chicago river. They were so good! We tried their wood stone pizza, the Chicken Florentine and the Margherita. DELICIOUS!!!! The staff was AMAZING! I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Highly recommend and we will be back.

The weather was amazing, so we chose to sit outside. The inside had a really strong old building smell, the music was a little loud too.
The pretzel was sooo delicious, definitely a must try. We also got the Carolina pulled pork and that was tasty too. On the other hand, the chicken mac n cheese had barely any chicken and it was kinda bland.
Overall, it was pretty decent for us who just drove by Vermillion. Would recommend!

Very very fun bar and restaurant. They have a lot of cocktail options and beers on tap. The food comes in big portions. Very very delicious burgers and sandwiches. Sides are good too. The service was just ok, friendly but left something to be desired. The patio is beautiful. There’s quite a bit of seating but it’s a popular spot and fills up. Again fun bar with their unique specials and trivia nights and other fun events. Good spot. Love the tiki bar.

I had the best New York strip steak that I’ve had in a long time. It was tender and juicy. The only lettuce option for the salad is iceberg lettuce. Instead, I chose asparagus and charred brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were too charred, but the asparagus was great.

Visiting from Kansas City with my wife. We decided to try some of the local fare. Service and atmosphere was excellent! Food was good, nothing too fantastic – however the house chips were pretty awesome. Tried the flight of beers and it was a hit or miss situation. Half of the beers had a week or watered down flavor and the other half were pretty good.

Wonderful local favorite, evidenced by how busy they were on the Thursday we visited. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the bar. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was great! Actually kinda surprised at how good it was. Will 100% go back next time I’m in the area.
