They open at 8am. They make their food daily freshly on site or made to order. You better come early because their stuff is gone quickly. The owners are very nice even you don’t know a word of Vietnamese, just simply point at the items you want from the display, mission complete!
They have the best baguettes in town with buy 5 get 1 free promotion. The veggie one and the hose special (combination) are my must orders. Their Vietnamese ham roll is perfect for sandwiches, stir fry or in noodle soup. They also have very authentic desserts and pastries. The strong and sweet condense milk Vietnamese coffee is pleasant to have. You can’t miss their dry flat fat rice noodle box, which is the best. If you want to dine in (only 2 tables), they offer to heat up the food (soup) for you.

I haven’t had a lot of real banh mi sandwiches at this point in my life, but Dakao really impressed me! Maybe a little light on the amount of filling inside, but the quality is there and the bread is OMFG perfect! 1000% worth it for the money too at around $7 per sandwich!

The bánh mì at Dakao Sandwiches are seriously so good.
The bread is the real standout… perfectly crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and sturdy enough to hold all the fillings together without falling apart. Every bite has that ideal balance of texture and flavor that makes a great bánh mì.
The shop itself is located in a somewhat rundown strip mall, and parking can definitely be a challenge since there aren’t many spaces for the number of businesses in the plaza. That said, it’s absolutely worth the visit.
It gets pretty busy, which isn’t surprising considering how affordable and delicious the food is. Service can be a bit hit-or-miss and tends to slow down when they’re packed, but the quality of the sandwiches keeps people coming back.
If you’re looking for a tasty, no-frills bánh mì spot, this one delivers.

Came to this Vietnamese sandwich shop that was recommended from a Vietnamese friend and he was absolutely right. This place is the real deal and the sandwiches are fresh and most importantly they put pate on some of the sandwiches which is definitely a must when it comes to Vietnamese “Bahn mi”…. I got two sandwiches and it was seven dollars each so I got out of there for about $16 including tip. I love the baguettes. I love the meat inside and I love the balance and texture and I will definitely be back so thank you thank you thank you and great job…:)

I was on the hunt for the best Banh Mi in Vegas and this place came highly recommended. A bit of a whole in the wall and the menu is JUST banh mi – both good signs in my book.

Tried the steak (they were out of grilled pork, fair as they closed in less than an hour).

I wish the bread maybe was warm, but biggest issue was steak had a lot of grissle. Otherwise pretty good Banh Mi overall.

My coworkers and I frequently order sandwiches from this restaurant. The sandwiches aren’t bad, however, this is the first time I actually went inside to pick up the food myself. The place is dirty inside. The man working at the front counter kept wiping his nose because he had the sniffles. The woman that was helping him at the front counter touched all kinds of surfaces. Neither of them ever washed their hands. Looking in the back at the kitchen area, the floors were nasty. Workers wiped their hands on their already dirty clothes and never washed their hands. One of them was coughing and never coveted her mouth. After seeing these things, I will not be going back to this place again! It completely grossed me out!

My husband and I love banh mi sandwiches, and every time we find a good restaurant, we have to stop. We arrived at Dakao around 9ish in the morning on a weekday, and while we had a pretty large order, we didn’t wait to long. We ordered a 1, 2, 5, 6,and 12, doughnuts, sesame balls, and Vietnamese iced coffee. This place was delicious, and the gentleman that took our order was nice and fast in getting to everyone’s orders. The sandwiches were great, and we ended up leaving with about 7 sandwiches.

Easy parking within a shopping plaza

We came out early in the morning and it was pretty packed with customers going in and out. Clean ambience packed with tons of food and dessert selections within their showcase and refrigerator.

This review is solely based on the Banh Mi sandwich as I have yet to try their full selection of foods

Rating 3/5 lots of bread and a little meat and veggies inside. I would go to Saigon Baguette
Over this spot strictly for Banh Mi sandwiches
