From Wisconsin: My wife and I were turned on to Dak Dak in early January 2026 by a family member who lives in Lombard. We were floored by the taste and quality of our wing and sweet potato fry order. We had the boneless wings on our first visit and they were outstanding! Had a great crunch to access the tender meat inside. The variety of dipping sauces were all good. I personally like the, “Duck Fat Buffalo” sauce, but they are all very tasty. The 2nd visit we had the bone in wings. Same results. Awesome! On both trips we ordered the “Tempura Battered Sweet Potato Fries.” Freaking amazing! This past Saturday, Dak Dak offered a “Parmesan, Pecorino Romano,
Roasted Garlic Sauce.” Wow! That stuff should be sold in large peanut butter size containers at the grocery store. So good! I dipped the fries and the chicken in that stuff until it was gone. Amazing food, super clean, and very friendly staff. We need a Dak Dak North!

I had nearly forgotten how good Korean-style chicken wings were, since the late 1990s I used to order these on a regular basis at a Korean grocer in Northbrook through 2010. Nonetheless, this style has become ubiquitous like the birria taco.

Ordered 20 wings with 4 different sauces to-go and their sweet potatoe fries.

These wings were really great. What makes these style of wings different is that the batter is lighter than American flour batter using a corn starch or potatoe starch batter. This gives the skin a more “hard candy” crunch. And the twice fried method locks the juices and tenderness while the second fry crisps the skin. But the huge winner are the sauces.

The traditional soy & garlic was my favorite. Followed by the sweet & spicy sauce. The hot honey was sweet, not really any heat but was very good. The duck fat buffalo has nice heat. If im being honest, not sure I would be able to tell if a different type of fat was used, difficult to distinguish.

Only criticism I have is that the wings (flats & drumettes only) are a bit smaller than expected (BWW & Wingstop are just a bit bigger but even those I consider “small”). But still huge fan of these wings.

Their sweet potatoe fries are some of the best I have had and the portion here is exceptional.

Lastly, washed it all down with an organic non-carb fruit drink (never heard of this brand Tractor) and it was very nice.

The place, though small, was clean and inviting. And the staff was friendly and attentive. Will visit again when I stop in the nearby cigar lounge across the street (8 To 8).

Ordered the Sweet & Spicy and the Soy & Garlic wings with an order of sweet potato fries. Got the bone-in wings, they were very good sized, no little puny ones. They were very good, cooked perfectly with great flavor from both sauces.
The sweet potato fries were absolute dynamite, I don’t offer this lightly… the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Got garlic aioli to go with the fries, had half of them gone before I remembered the aioli. With or without sauce, super good!

Service was very good – friendly person at counter, answered my questions, gave a suggestion, chatted without chewing my ear off. Would definitely recommend stopping here.

If you like Korean food, this is the spot to try! The wings are crunchy and so are the sweet potato fries! Their ranch had dill in it; I loved that fresh herb taste and the Dak Dak sauce is good! Clean establishment and very friendly staff! Give it a try!

If you order the wings plain, they are extra crispy. We enjoyed the crunchy texture, however I would not recommend having them coated in any of their sauces. Ask for your sauce on the side. We tried the hot honey, sweet and spicy as well as the soy and garlic. All sauces are very strong and overpowering if you choose to sauce the wings. Excellent for dipping. Soy and garlic was our least favorite out of the three. The cucumber salad was nothing to rave about. We enjoyed the house and seasoned fries. They came out crispy and flavorful. As far as the ambiance, it was decent for a take out style restaurant. For a two man show, your food comes out quickly.

I’ve been to this place probably a dozen times, but this was my first time eating inside, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Normally, I take my food to go, but dining in gave me a whole new appreciation for the experience. Our server was fantastic—super friendly, and she went above and beyond by presenting our order beautifully. Honestly, for a fast food spot, the presentation was impressive, and she took the time to explain the new items on the menu in detail.

This place has only been around for three years, but it’s already become a go-to spot for me. After we ate, my friend sent a picture of our meal to one of his friends, and they were blown away—”Oh my God, I can’t believe you’re there. That place is amazing!” More people need to know about this hidden gem. It’s hands down one of the best spots around! Highly recommend it.

The food was very good. Hot and fresh and right on point. Sweet and Spicy wings with seasoned fries and a drink was the lunch special I chose. Very good. Only reason the atmosphere got 3 stars was because its only a few places to sit and eat. Music was playing while we ate, so it was cool, but it’s really not for a huge crowd. I’ll definitely come back.

Neat neighborhood spot offering a special take on boneless wings, and an undeniably delicious array of sauces, and fresh cut fries. The sweet potato ones are tempura style, but both smack greatly.

The crew clearly cares about delivering quality, and it shows!

Worthy of plenty of visits, and it really does seem to be a neighborhood pleasure.

I hope they continue to test out & cycle through winning limited release sauces.

THE BEST wings I’ve ever had, even better than Buffalo Wild Wings. The flavors are a bit different, being Korean infused but oh my goodness, there are delicious and crunchy and fresh. And they’re not skinny little wings either. They’re meaty!
Customer service was top notch too!

Customer service was great. Place looked very clean. There was an issue with my online order and they got my order made quickly in spite of this.

I got the bundle in bone deal.
20 Split Wings w/ Each Sauce on Side, House Fries, Sweet Potato Fries & Coleslaw Served w/ Pickled Radish, Ranch & Dak Dak Sauce *All Wing Sauces on Side .

The fries were delicious.
Cole slaw was good as well as radish.
Dak Dak sauce was my fave.
Didn’t care much for the other sauces.

Chicken was very crunchy for my liking. Not much flavor with out sauce.
