ABOUT DAISY ORGANIC BAKERY We are a family-owned bakery and believe that eating right gives you a better for a long and healthier life. Eating healthy has been in our family for decades. We named our bakery after our beloved Aunt Daisy Orlov. Surrounded with family care and good, home-made food, Aunt Daisy lived to 108 years old! We decided to bring that healthier, home-made philosophy to our local community and fulfill a life-long dream of opening a bakery. Inspired by Aunt Daisy, we opened Daisy’s Organic Bakery to honor her memory and carry on the tradition. Our mission is to create a variety of healthier and unique baked goods using fresh, organic ingredients. Being community minded, we source our ingredients from local organic farms.

I picked out 5 different pastries to try, including the almond croissant- which he said is their number one seller. It was ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL. I just got back from Paris- honestly, I haven’t had a croissant there that was this good, not even joking!
I also tried the cheese danish and a white pastry that looked like a meringue – both were sooo good.
This is just an honest review – was very impressed and will definitely be coming back!
However, when I tried this pastry, I was very disappointed. The cake was not delicious at all, somehow bitter in taste, the smell was unpleasant, the feeling of something artificial and alien in taste and smell. But the worst thing about this story is that after eating this cake, my stomach ached a lot all night, and I realized that this cake was stale, or prepared in violation of sanitary standards. There must have been bacteria in the cream. This is not surprising, because this is not a factory where there is sanitary control, but a private business where they do what they want and there is no supervision or quality control of products. So I came to the conclusion that I would never buy anything there again. It is better to cook something for yourself, then it will really be organic and safe for health.
Responding to the business owner’s comments: Yours being a family business does not give you the right to charge $120-$130 for a massively underbaked 8-inch cake and give something that ended up in trash. If you don’t like reviews like this then have some business ethics and deliver what you charge for. And my husband is not a repeat customer, this was our first ever interaction with your business, and he placed the order 2 weeks in advance. Also, macarons are not mere decorations, people eat them. When asked for an egg-free cake, you should be mindful of allergies that people might have. Your excuses and justifications are unbelievable. See the new picture as to where the cake finally ended.
