Bought a chili cheese hot dog they asked if I wanted ketchup, mustard, and onion on it. I said no just onion so I ended up with a hotdog a bun and onion no chili or cheese. What a rip off was over five bucks.

We always stop at this DQ on our way back to Duluth after a stop at Gooseberry Falls. They have a parking lot, but if that is full, you can find street parking. Hot fudge Sunday, cherry sunday and chocolate and butter scotch dipped cones is our usual order. Orders taken at the outside ‘burger/fry’ window is very charming. Service was great and fast. There was a small crowd and they have a couple of tables for outdoor seating. Question: what’s up with the reward notice for anyone whose report of theft leads to an arrest?

Have absolutely loved coming to the DQ in the summer as we have a cabin up here. This time when we went the young lady working the counter was sitting there on her phone texting which I understand that sometime people need a break but it is not a good look when people are standing right in front of you waiting to order and she won’t look up from her phone. When she notices us she moved her phone behind the napkin dispenser and proceeded to continue to text. Very disappointed in how she treated customers.

We visited on a Sunday evening on our last night of vacation in Two Harbors and the staff were awesome. I love the old school Dairy Queens where you have to walk up to the window to order. We got our treats quite fast and the whole family enjoyed everything we ordered.

An hour to close, we were told we can’t get chili dogs, we can only get hot dogs because they were closing soon. After approximately a 15 minute wait, we were served cold hot dogs by three boys who were goofing around the whole time in back and one was even eating ice cream. If I could give this experience 0 stars, I would.

The chicken is INEDIBLE. The ice cream is good, & the service was mostly decent through ordering (with a side of not caring and a basic teenage attitude, but whatever). So I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. I only ate the soggy bun with tomato and lettuce. I showed and told the teens working that the chicken is rubbery and stringy. I was barely able to bite into it. At this point they no longer cared. I lost out on money and lunch. Good thing the blizzard was tasty. The least they could’ve done was throw a hot dog or bag of chips my way…. Where is the management here?
