My family went to Dairy Queen today for some sweet treats. Our ice cream tasted spoiled, the lids to two of the shakes were filthy – both blizzards and shakes immediately went into the trash. We do not plan to return.

We visited around 7pm, one car in front of us at the drive thru. The girl who took our order over the speaker sounded like we were interrupting her evening. We were given the order and drove the 7 minutes back to where we’re staying . I had a ‘Smore Blizzard. The blizzards are supposed to stay in the container when turned upside down, this was more like a thick milkshake. It was more liquid than solid. My husband had a hot fudge sundae, which was also mostly melted. We both ended up drinking it instead of eating with a spoon

We visit the Etna Avenue Dairy Queen every week or two. The owner, I believe his name is Sarabjot, is so kind. We request specially made peanut buster parfaits and they are always perfect. The owner is personable and friendly. The ice cream is delicious. We love coming here and will continue to do so! If you wait an extra few minutes, at least you know everything was freshly made. I don’t understand all the negative reviews.

Who is giving this place good ratings? lol expect to wait 15-30 minutes for a blizzard. Every time we go back thinking it’ll be better but it never is so maybe that’s on us but wow, the service is TERRIBLE. And my ice cream is melted 1/2 the time.

Don’t ever go to this store. I’ve went there twice in the past week and it’s nothing but liquid ice cream they don’t ask for lids or drink carriers and the owner is so rude when I have tried to call to explain it. Never again will I ever go to This Dairy Queen.
