Stop by for a refreshment after a long drive. Drive thru was busy but counter inside was empty. Young lady behind counter gave me a rushed generic greeting. Upon giving me my blizzard instead of the traditional flip she laid it on the side like she fell and I was going to wear it instead of eating it. She picked it back up, turned her head and walked away. I got the apple pie blizzard and it was what you would expect to half way down, then all it was at the bottom was vanilla ice cream not fixed with topping. Ordered a medium blizzard but only half of it was a true blizzard. No thanks for stopping by or anything. DQ is iconic but the service makes you want to patronize the other places that offer ice cream treats.

My granddaughter had some dental surgery today. I took her to DQ for something that would be cold and soothing to her. The 2 people working were great!!! Very kind and quickly helped us! I’ll definitely go back to this location! I wish I had gotten their names so I could have let their manager know that they were just awesome!

I ordered an ice cream cake for my little girl’s birthday and Mr. Wayland went above and beyond to get the design I wanted! My little girl loved it and the cake was delicious! How can you say Ice cream and Shake are at the top of your menu ( WHICH IS WHAT DAIRY QUEEN IS KNOWN FOR) when your Ice cream machines are ALWAYS down for cleaning!!!!!! Especially on the weekends or in the evening. This store is a waste of space. When you do happen to be serving Ice cream your employees are RUDE AS HELL. This is the 4th time I’ve been there around 8pm and it’s always the same excuse the ice cream machines are down. Thank goodness there are other options for Ice cream in LUMBERTON NC.

I actually only get frozen treats at our local Dairy Queen and everything I get is always made just the way I asked for it. I don’t order food items because they don’t serve french fries how can you have burgers and not fries.
