Visited tonight and wasn’t happy with the overall customer service. My daughters were enjoying their cones on the ride home until we got home and my oldest daughter told me she found a hair in hers. The hair is curly and blonde. We’re a black family with brown hair. The store offered a refund which is fine, but I’m still disgusted

Rude staff. Not only were they only taking one order at a time despite having enough workers to take at least a few. The line was getting longer because of this. The lady on register was talking about how she can make so-and-so blizzards at once and how much she can make at once but yet she didn’t move once to help the other staff she just stayed on register talking, then when I went to use my points from the app to get a free blizzard she selected a different coupon that I did not want to use yet instead and wouldn’t change it. Then after that I tried to place a second order using a different coupon and she told me I couldn’t but I know you can as I have done it before. As long as it’s a separate order which I did. Upon receiving my items they were sloppy and messy

Overlooking the wait others have mentioned, because one person can only go so quick, I’ve never had half a Blizzard end up being almost all plain vanilla custard. The top half was fine, so it’s not like the bottom candy concentrated at the top, it’s more that they didn’t add enough or mix it well enough. Employee was nice, maybe just newer, idk. There seem to be more inconsistencies this and last season from this location though as a whole.

I went to DQ on elmwood and they had a kid working there he was about 9 or 10. He had no gloves on and was sticking his hands in the sprinkles and playing with them. He was also putting his hands in all the cups and putting them in his armpits. When I said something to the worker she just looked at me.

Just got to say it’s pretty crappy that they shut all their machines down before closing time. An then send you away while they still have their open sign on. That’s crazy. My company closes at 4:30 but we still take care of the customers that arrived before closing until they’re all done.

Went to get ice cream for my mom and when I arrived there was a little sign saying they closed early due to weather but it was nice outside, a little cold but nothing they should be closed for so I was trying to ask the workers if it was true. They completely ignored me and were eating ice cream themselves with their kids inside. The worker never looked at me or answered me just tapped on the glass at the sign while eating her ice cream… completely rude and unprofessional!

My family went for ice cream on 5/24 at about 8:30 and it was an awful experience. The two ladies working were incredibly unprofessional and uneducated on how to make the desserts. One of the ladies was incredibly rude when she only gave me one ice cream instead of two like I had ordered and repeated to her twice. Then, they forgot the two cones on the side and even though I had mentioned it twice when ordering. She got an attitude and told me to watch my tone, I was being very calm even with this frustrating situation. The peanut butter parfait was basically just peanuts and fudge overfilled and the blizzards sat so long while they made the rest that it was half melted. Extremely disappointing downfall of this location, and I will drive to the one further away just to avoid those two again

I normally wouldn’t blast them publicly but I sent several messages and never heard anything back. I tried to get ice cream for my daughter and me on Sunday night (7-29-2025). The cashier with the very short curly hair kept walking away from the customers to tell her co-workers racists and homophobic jokes. She was speaking loud enough for everybody out front to hear. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I got my usual Royal Strawberry Cheescake Blizzard and Lizzie had me sold on the new Superman cake batter cookie dough blizzard as well! Perfect blend for this gorgeous sunny day in Buffalo! Lizzie was sweet, all smiles, so kind, so helpful and I highly recommend this location and will be back! Thanks for the love and ice cream Lizzie and DQ!!!!!
