Food is always great. Ordered some food, had a little longer wait time, which i understand. Food is always reasonably priced for the quality. Gave me some dilly bars for the wait even though they didnt have to. One of our favorite spots in town. Thank you for being around.

Employees didnt clean the mixer between mixed ice cream!! Glad i dont have a peanut allergy. Would not recommend this place if you want somewhere sanitary. The employees also all seemed pissed at the world and didnt seem very welcoming. Also had food just sitting on the counters half made with no one tending to it or anything. Again, not sanitary. I really hope they didnt send that food out and if they did i feel bad for whoever got it because with how long it was sitting there it was definately cold (it was there when I walked in). Also very slow service. No one in the drive through or lobby when I was there and it took almost 10 minutes to make a mini and medium blizzard. I wont be coming back, not impressed. Just drive the extra 20 minutes to omaha and get a good Dairy queen over by Menards

I’ve been here several times and I love coming here, but in my most recent visit, being yesterday, the employee who made my ice cream looked pretty sick. She was barely able to take my order, and she just looked really bad… sniffling and stuff. To the manager, please send employees home if they feel or look sick.

The guy at the register seemed a little confused, but minimum wage jobs make me want to kill myself, too, so no docked points. Second, I have seen this place in my dreams. Beautiful. Makes my balls hot. Also, the food went crazy. The cheese balls were stellar, the ice cream as standard dairy queen, so very good, and the chicken stripe were prolly the best I’ve ever had. The burgers were just good. Most of the time, Dairy Queen has mid food, but this food was amazing. Stellar. Out of this world. Diner style. Dairy Queen’s tenders are usually the size of my finger, but these were enormous, and much better tasting. And an actual reasonable amount of breading. Get water. Other than that, maybe the best fast food establishment I’ve ever been to. Truly the Spiderverse of Dairy Queen. 9.9/10.

Great food but service was a little slow. I’ve been there several times now in the last 2 weeks (5/19/18) and service isn’t great and the staff need to use a little common sense when bagging food to go. Our orders have been correct but seem to be just tossed in a big bag when a large order comes in. It comes out looking like a jumbled mess. However the food is good and prices are too.

The restaurant was clean, staff was super friendly just as expected from a small town experience. Nothing like we get from the stores in DesMoines. If it weren’t multiple hours from where I live I’d go to that location exclusively. One thing that surprised me was that they had chocolate soft serve, I haven’t been able to find that anywhere and spent some 4 hours in des moines on a hunt for my kids to get a chocolate cone never found. Anyway the food was decent that they served hot fresh made and the girl at the counter even had suggestions for paring together. The milkshakes were so great I got another to take on the road with me.

Everytime I visit Dairy Queen the establishment is very clean, staff is friendly food and ice cream are great! I love the fact the owner chose to close Sundays so she and the employees can have a family day with their loved ones!

Ok. This is something new! My co-worker ordered orange chicken from Dairy Queen. He was so pleased and happy! He told us about how delicious the food ! I was very intrigued about it , so I ordered from Dairy Queen, orange chicken+ rice + veggie spring rolls and it was amazingly delicious!!!! I am very pleased with it! Dairy Queen in Oakland IA, all I can I say is wowwwww!!!!! Great job! Great food!!!

Through the drive thru about 845pm wed Aug 24. The girl talked so fast, she was hard to understand. When I got to the window she was OK. While I sat there she took the order from the car behind me. Very impatient and grimaced when they said “hold on” . made a face and sighed. Maybe it was close to closing time, but she wasn’t professional and never smiled. Felt like it was inconvenient for her to wait on customers. My blizzard was delicious!
