Wow ive never been to a dairy queen like this selling place this amazing. management is always so welcoming and thankful.They have great customer service, food freshly served, spotless dine in, blizzards tasted amazing ,i was helped by 2 outstanding workers, would definitely recommend if you are looking to eat somewhere with your kids, they even put a table with candies and halloween decorations in front of the dine in! 10/10!

I’ve been going to this location since it’s been opened even my sister worked here when we were in highschool and I was very disappointed by the treatment by the woman named wason. We just ordered some ice creams and if I knew that they were about to close I would’ve easily chosen Brusters. She could’ve told me that they were closed but no instead she told my boyfriend to “hurry up”. We all work, I’ve worked in customer service for years and I just found it baffling that someone would speak to someone like that knowing that you work in customer service. I hope that her attitude will be better in the future because yall just lost a customer.

I was very disappointed after being served a burger with bacon after requesting for it to be removed (seen on my receipt). I was also charged for extra toppings (onions, pickles, lettuce) I didn’t receive. I would like to be reimbursed for my meal since the main entrée (my burger) had to be thrown in the trash.

Pulled up tonight for drive thru for one blizzard. There was a car in front of me and a car behind me. It was 9:42. The car in front pulled off and we approached the drive thru speaker and no one ever came. We pulled around to the window where numerous employees side eyed us yet wouldn’t come to the window. The window sign showed closing time was TEN PM. A kid opens up the window after I honked and waved someone down and just said “Yeah, we closed early.” This location sucks. Dairy Queen corporate, get it together.

This DQ has gone downhill since new ownership several months ago. Not only is the vibe different, but they don’t make Blizzards to the DQ standard (ie, you have to ask for them to be made the original DQ way and not their special way). They also won’t write on the ice cream cakes. Definitely strange and not the best service. So unfortunate.

Food is pretty good, but the service isn’t. They seem understaffed. Took a while to get served inside, gave our food away to the only other people inside, had a trashcan sitting open in the dining area, and the soda fountain needed a refill.
Worst was I observed one of the employees making a blizzard, then licking something off her finger before continuing to make the blizzard. No, she did not stop to wash her hands.

Typical DQ. Come here for the Blizzards. Kids love it. Honestly the price of a blizzard now is ridiculous but yet we keep ordering them. Hardly go inside but last time we felt it was a bit dirty. Think it might have changed owners in the last year or so. Could be a factor.

I’m not sure what is going on with this location. I went last night (Saturday) at 9:45pm and waited 5 min at the drive through. No one answered the speaker. I drive to the window and saw people moping the floors. I guess they closed early?? So I went to McDonald’s.
I went back this morning (Sunday) 11:30am and no one answered the speaker again. I drove to the window. A young teenager came to it. I asked him if they were open and he said he didn’t know if they were open. He said there wasn’t a manager there. So I went to Culver’s.

They literally shut down the grill at 9:15 and said they aren’t making cheeseburgers. This store has gone to junk! Thank heavens there are other places that will gladly take the business!

Last 2 times I have visited this location during normal business hours it has been closed. No signage on the door or message when you call and website not updated to reflect that they are closed . The operational standards have declined at this location. Fortunately Brewsters is 100 feet away and are open during they posted hours. One would think that Dairy Queen would be at the top of their game with such a great ice cream shop right next to it. I truly hope corporate reads this and makes the operational changes needed at the Hickory Flat location.
