Hubby and I went on 1/29 for a quick dinner – ordered at 6:22 P after waiting about 5 minutes to be acknowledged by staff. There was only one other group in the restaurant. We ordered the sauces chicken strips meal. Our order finally arrived at 6:42 and was cold – not room temperature but cold. I didn’t have time to have them remake it as we needed to meet some others at 7 PM. Usually the food at this locations doesn’t take the long. They worker did offer to give us a free ice cream for the wait, we declined. We thought the food would be hot but sadly it wasn’t. I will be contacting the manager (it seemed like they were back to filling one order at a time, like they did when they first opened.) Very disappointed as this location had improved by leaps and bounds from when they first opened.

On February 23, we drove to Dairy Queen at 9:55 PM. As we were heading to the drive-thru, they saw our car and then closed right away. One of the crew members was wearing a headset, and we saw them laughing and jumping around before they turned off the lights immediately.and We have 5 minutes left to get ice cream, as customer we check the time you guys Close 10pm and we check our time its not over yet .. i hope we get a solution for these workers to pay attention next time the time before they close…

Ordered a pick up order with food and sodas and blizzards. Pull up and there was a car in front of us that stayed in the drive thru for at least 15 before we pulled up, so I asked at the window if they could check that our food was still hot, they just shrugged and handed us a bag. Then he gives us our sodas which one was leaking and I got soda all over me and my car. Then he goes to hand us our blizzards without lids, we asked can we please get lids? The kid replied, i dont have lids, then proceeded to toss some to us and said you can put them on. The blizzards were filled over the top so I ended up getting ice cream on myself and my car along with the soda that spilled. The kid was rude and didnt care. I called the manager and they refunded the order, which was nice. However, I do not think I’ll be back anytime soon.

I’ve been going to DQ since I was a kid. I love their cherry dipped cones. Recently I’ve started going to this location (frequently) to get cherry dipped cones with my fiancé. Each time they look worse and worse. So much so that today we actually asked them to remake them. I hate wasting food or causing a fuss but the standard of serving a paying customer something done so sloppy is not cool. If someone doesn’t complain it will just continue.
When we asked them to remake the cones after being served ones still dripping and cracked with ice cream coming out they attempted to just RE-DIP the same cones! I watched and said “no toss them and make new ones”. You cannot take food you’ve already let a customer touch and proceed to dip it again!!!! Huge contamination issue. Sadly, they remade them but they were worse the 2nd time! I heard the blonde gal that works there say “that’s just how the cherry dipped are”. No, they’re not.
Dear staff at this location. To avoid this sloppy work it’s a very simple fix. Put the ice cream on the cone. Dip it in the cherry hard shell. WAIT for it to solidify and drip off excess liquid shell. THEN flip it upright. Finally, hand it to the customer.

drive through took longer then I expected, they seem to favor one lane over the other. once I was up to the front my blizzard was actually slightly thawed or soupy. I’m not sure if they are suppose to flip it over before they hand it to you anymore but the window attendant did not do that for me. the hamburger I watched them make from the window. the kitchen seem to be clean and well kepted. The window attendant was friendly, apologized for the wait and did smile.
one thing that was worrisome was the drivethru lane there are white cones to direct you to the drive thru lane vs parking area. they have been hit several times and a few were protruding into the drivethru lane where it was very close to hitting my vehicle. I had to maneuver around them.

Every time I order from this location on 11516 NE 119th st something is ALWAYS WRONG with my order Every time it never hails they are either forgetting to pack my food or intentionally leaving it out! With the blizzards they don’t add the extra ingredients that I pay for to the blizzard and they Never answer the phone!! Today is 2-17-26 and normally I’ll change my restaurant to the one on Fourth plain but I forgot and they did it again my nieces drink my drink and my grandson entire meal I am so pissed I just spent $70 for them to forget stuff and I can’t get back to them I’m livid

It is baffling to me how it takes so long to order and get food here. I arrived on what seemed like a really slow Sunday, one person in the drive thru in front of me and no cars in the parking lot. It literally took 10 minutes for the girl to take my order (she said “one moment please” when I pulled up, and complete silence for ten minutes). Then an additional 20 minutes to pay and get my food (one chicken finger basket). I also asked for an extra sauce and didn’t even get it. What on earth is going on with this location???

Stop to have cup of coffee with meal. DQ don’t sell coffee (stupid). Had to have a dementia drink instead (pop). Female waitress asked if I was picking up double cheese burger. No one had even taken my order. Lost a customer only because of no coffee.

I haven’t been super impressed with any of the DQs here in Vancouver. One common theme I’ve seen at each one I’ve gone to is the excessive amount of butter they put on the bread that ends up getting all over everything else inside the order so everything just tastes like butter. I have never had this at other DQs out of state, not sure why it happens here. Also, the way the drive thru is set up here makes you go hmm…

Absolutely lifeless on the job, no rush or hurry to get customers food. They do not care if you have somewhere to be, they’ll take their jolly time making your food and make you wait 20 minutes for 1 fry. Would never come inside the store again. Also my burger was dry barely any sauce
