Bananasplit: perfect.
Chocolate brownie with carmel sauce: perfect.
Coffee brownie carmel swirl: perfect.
Recommend Dairy Queen get sturdier spoons to hold up to their ‘As promised’ solid ice cream won’t fall out of the cup desserts. But… if you give it a chance to melt a little the long handled red plastic spoons will do just fine.

I absolutely love this Dairy Queen location! It’s honestly my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet or a quick meal. One of the things that sets this location apart from others is that they carry chocolate ice cream, which might sound simple, but so many other locations don’t. It’s such a letdown when you’re craving chocolate and can’t get it, but this location always delivers exactly what I want.

On top of that, the service here is consistently fast and efficient. Even during busy times, I never have to wait long, and the staff always seems organized and friendly. It’s clear they take pride in keeping orders accurate because I’ve never once gotten the wrong food, which is more impressive than it might sound. Between the fast service and reliable orders, it’s a place I can count on for a quick treat or meal.

The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, making it perfect for a quick stop with friends, family, or even just a solo ice cream run. Overall, this Dairy Queen location gets everything right — the chocolate ice cream, fast service, and accurate orders make it a five-star experience every time.

I tried to point out to a cashier what size of a red velvet blizzard. I pointed to the small she didn’t see and ended up getting me a mini one. I brought it to they’re attention when I got the blizzard, thankfully they gave me a brand new small one as well as the mini. I gave it to my brother. The red velvet is on point, the FlameThrower chicken 4-pc tenders were fire.

I go to this location often but today the price listed on the drive thru was not honored. I guess there was a price increase of 8.00 dollars from 7.00 Dollars on the value menu. Its even 7.00 if you go inside the restaurant and order. Maybe the owners will correct the price listing soon

I ordered a six-piece chicken strip basket. I then also ordered a mix and match meal with four more chicken strips. The man that was working the window apparently thought this was only two extra And then told me that it was all in the basket. He lied. So I spent $7 for two chicken strips. Congratulations! I’m never going back. Dairy Queen learn to hire better people.

We visit this place every month as it falls in our route to yelm and after 2hrs of long drive from eastside we find this place convenient for restroom break and quick bites. Restrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking. Though there is no restriction on using restrooms we just make sure to purchase something here every time.

We have a friend who is a manager at a Dairy Queen in my home town. I had another that works in a different one. My lady and I see them both a few times a month. To say I know Dairy Queen is an understatement.
My lady and I are seniors. We don’t like big meals. We do like ice cream. So what we usually order is off the $7.00 menu. (And if we’re feeling adventurous, we’ll upgrade the sundae to a blizzard).
Tonight (7/13/2024) THIS Dairy Queen would not sell us the $7.00 dinners. OK. I get it. They are allowed to sell or not sell.
But as a business man, a chef and a food/ restaurant critic let’s do the math. Because we go so often we know 2 $7 dollar meals (upgraded by a total of 4 dollars for 2 small blizzards) comes to about $27.
Walking out bc they are the ONLY ones that we’ve EVER encountered that would turn down a $27 sale. I know this trick as a restaurantuer, it’s supposed to get folks to order off the other part of the menu. The challenge is we didn’t WANT anything else. The smart mouthed kid behind the counter needs to be retrained or fired completely.

So when a restaurant reviewer posts a review and the owners answers, one would expect a personal response.
Instead this is what I got;

“Hi Jack, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are always listening to our fans. We hope you give us another chance next time you’re craving DQ food and treats.”

Why would we give them another try when they have NOT addressed the issue. A basic statement that is probably used for all complaints shows a real lack of caring by the owners. It’s no wonder the staff is poorly trained. Don’t waste you time and money on this lousy excuse for a Dairy Queen.

Ordered from here at different times of the day, even lunch and dinner time. Yet despite getting my food right away, I always end up with cold, stale, soggy fries. That means someone is not dumping the old bad fries, and just putting new ones over them. Then when the new ones are cooking, they just use the old soggy ones to serve.

Every time I order my burger, and tell them no tomatoes, they put tomato on it. I’m highly allergic to tomatoes, so I am never able to eat my burger.

The employees are lazy, and the management is clearly not doing their job.

Awful customer service. The young women taking our order was obviously upset that she was working. A very unpleasant look on her face, and she refused to speak. When we received our order we were missing 1 blizzard, a sundae, a cheeseburger and a chocolate milk. I waited at the counter to inquire about the missing items. The young women just stared at me with a scowl, again not speaking. I finally managed to get a Sundae and a blizzard from her, but left without the cheeseburger or the chocolate milk. I didn’t have the time or the patience to approach her again. I was not the only customer who was waiting for missing items. At least I know she treats all customers the same. Will not go to that DQ again.

They weren’t even busy and our food and another person’s food was left up on the counter to get cold. I finally went looking for it and lo and behold there. It was just sitting there. The lady said she called our names three times! LOL no way that both orders didn’t hear their names. No incentive to come and find us so that we could have hot food! I will not be back.
