That was the rudest person I’ve ever met working a dairy queen drive thru. The guy handed me my blizzard into my car window and it was dripping all over the place. When I asked for some napkins to clean it up, he said “they’re in the bag” and walked off. The blizzard was basically liquid by the time I got home, and I live 2 minutes away. The cheese curds were so salty I couldn’t eat them., soggy too, like they were undercooked to rush the order. First and last time there.

If I could give 0 stars I would, I was whistled at to get my attention. Got my bag in the drive through and it looks like a trash bag after you eat

On 1/2/2026 we went in the evening to get desert. Ice cream was good, as always, but the experience was frustrating because online it says open until 10pm, on the sign on the door it said on Fridays open until 9:30pm but they had already closed the lobby and we were told it closed at 9pm everyday. We suggested they make a new sign and we hope they check with the owner to get their hours figured out both in person and online.

Ordered take-0ut chicken strips with fries. We have NEVER had food so salty! We have enjoyed these chicken strips at other locations and they were absolutely yummy! These were so bad, we nearly threw them out. NOT impressed at all. My husband said it all—‘they won’t be in business very long if this is what they serve!’

I was ticked off by time I got through the drive through that I had to just leave.
There was only two cars in front of us but, it took more that 15 minutes after we got to the window….that’s AFTER we ordered our food!!!
In total we were in line almost 28 minutes, rediculouse!
When we finally get our food, it’s barely warm and half of it is missing. I was so t’d off we just left for home. I dont have time to waist educating you on what you clearly have not been trained to do.
Dont waist your money on their so called rotisserie style chicken. Seriously, it’s like dried out chicken jerky nubs. No quaso cheese for my daughters pretzels either.
This is by far the slowest and unorganized DQ we have been to yet (and that’s multiple cities and states). Train your employees and care about the food your serving people.
NO WAY in Hadies, would I recommend this DQ!

I eat the bbq chicken strip basket and the crispy chicken salad. Those are my favorites. Always great customer service, very good ice cream and treats.

I’ve always enjoyed Dairy Queen Florence for its consistent quality — everything on the menu is reliably good, and their chicken tenders are honestly some of the best in town. Whether you’re in the mood for a Blizzard, a burger, or a snack in between, the food hits the spot every time.
That said, the service leaves a lot to be desired. On multiple visits, I’ve stood at the counter for as long as 5+ minutes without being acknowledged — no greeting, no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. On one occasion, I asked a staff member walking by if anyone was taking orders, and she replied that she had no idea and couldn’t help because she hadn’t clocked in yet — nor did she offer to get someone who could. Meanwhile, the kitchen staff always seems to go out of their way to avoid eye contact, clearly not wanting to engage.
It’s not a question of attitude so much as it is training — or the lack of it. These are young employees who clearly haven’t been taught the basics of customer service. At a bare minimum, a customer should never be left standing at the counter wondering if the place is even open.
In short: great food, underwhelming service. I hope management invests in training because this DQ has the potential to be a top-tier location if they can get the customer experience right.

I mean you’re at a Dairy Queen so you kinda know what to expect but this place was not busy on the inside and very slow on the service. They forgot one of the items and it was too small to go back. The food was fine, but the fries were a bit soggy.
